THE PROPERTY:
Welcome home to the “Longhorn Dream,” your charming home away from home and an inviting place to stay for your next Snowshoe Mountain vacation getaway!
Enjoy staying at the slopeside Silver Creek Lodge, home to the Coca-Cola Tubing Park, community indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, and fitness room. Take the free shuttle from Silver Creek to the main Basin or Western Territory. Or challenge the many slopes at Silver Creek with day or night skiing. Your all-resort lift or season pass is good at all three areas of the resort (main Basin, Western Territory, and Silver Creek).
With its unique and modern decor, this 1-bedroom/1-bathroom renovated property which sleeps six people, is on the fourth floor of the Silver Creek Lodge, and is a lovely space to unwind and relax after a busy day of mountain adventures.
Cook dinner in Silver Creek 5410’s bright and stylish kitchen, which is fully stocked with all the basics you’ll need to prepare and serve delicious meals.
Or, if you’re tired of preparing your own meals, consider a short stroll to the various dining options right in the building: 1) the Locker Room, where you can eat, drink, watch sports, play games, and enjoy live music during certain nights, and 2) the Bear’s Den, featuring lunch and dinner options such as burgers, wood-fired oven pizzas, and more. Please note the Bear’s Den is only open during the ski season and the Locker Room has limited hours during the summer season.
Wake up refreshed each morning in the queen-sized bed or twin bunk beds in the bedroom, or the full-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.
In the living room, have a glass of wine while enjoying a movie on the sofa. If the weather is cool, relax in the warm ambiance of the fireplace where you can kick off your shoes and put your feet up to unwind after a busy day.
Your housekeeping package includes clean linens (flat sheets and pillowcases) plus an additional setup for the sleeper sofa, bathroom linens (towel and washcloths for each person the condo has the capacity to sleep), a bathmat, a dish towel, toilet paper, trash bags, bar soap, liquid dishwashing soap (for hand-washing dishes), and powdered dishwasher detergent (for the dishwashing machine). Neither paper towels nor coffee filters will be provided!!

THE RESORT:
At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.
Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola Tubing Park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name a few.
Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails at your disposal. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing by Shavers Lake, etc.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the condo.
Free shuttle to Old Spruce Brewery (about a mile down the road), which has some of the best food and beer on the mountain. On the same bus stop as Old Spruce Brewery, you’ll find SnowCreek Mountain Sports, where you’ll receive an exclusive 20% discount voucher for your winter rental equipment when you book with EDH Rentals.

Please check Snowshoe’s website for hours, openings, and closures. Different areas of the mountain will open and close at different days and times. The confirmation email you’ll receive from us will have all this information and more!
PETS: While we absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you, Silver Creek is unfortunately not pet-friendly for Guests, so we must insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you.
EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in. We may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the previous Renter has departed by 11:00 AM and the housekeeping team is not short-staffed. On extremely busy days or holiday weekends, we appreciate your patience if our staff is running a bit behind in cleaning and resetting the condos.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.
PARKING: Your reservation includes a parking pass so you can park for free at the Silver Creek Lodge.
