Good stay, comfortable bed. The oven only has two temperatures, Off, or 1,000 degrees. Would be helpful if that was fixed. Other than that everything was good.

Overall, the room was very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, which made it easy and enjoyable to cook warm meals after a long day of skiing. The living room was cozy and inviting, and we really enjoyed relaxing there and spending time watching TV together.The location is excellent. The ski resort is right downstairs, and you can even see the lifts and beautiful scenery directly from the room, which was a wonderful bonus.I especially want to compliment the staff for being extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit early, and they kindly allowed us to pick up the parking card in advance so we could take care of parking first. This was a big help during the busy pre Christmas ski season. Whenever we had questions or issues, their responses were very quick and efficient.The only minor downside during our stay was that the heating was difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. Based on the staff’s suggestion, we had to turn it off and open the window to regulate the heat. Otherwise, the room could become quite warm. If the heating were easier to control, the stay would be even more comfortable.Overall, we had a great experience. You can really feel that this is a home style accommodation. It may not be as perfect as a hotel, but it is warm, welcoming, and full of character.

Our condo had a million dollar view of the mountains. Clean, well furnished, and great communication with our hosts. Perfect location during skiing season. We stayed in October so our building was mostly vacant and the restaurant was closed.

No air conditioning

It would be beautiful and a great place to stay in the winter but we were on the 3rd floor with no air and was miserably hot. They let us out of our 2nd night and refunded — but not as much as we paid also we didn’t realize there was an extra VRBO fee.

Great little spot in a great location

This is a cute little rental in a great location at Top of the World. Easy/quick access to the bike park and village. Just make sure you check the forecast if you are coming in the summer - like many places at Snowshoe, there is no AC and it gets hot inside. (Also, no access to the hottub in the summer months). Overall a great place to stay.

Great little apartment on top of the world. It had all the necessities to stay am entire week. With slope side views, the sunrise was amazing each morning. Definitely recommend and we will stay next season.

Cute little one bedroom apartment with ski in/ ski out. Beautiful view, easy access, and all the supplies you need for your stay. We will definitely be staying here again.

Cozy Stay

It is a very cozy ski-in/ski-out place. The pull-out sofa was comfortable to sleep on, and the bed in the bedroom was extra comfy. This place had everything we needed to do our own cooking to save money from having to eat out. There are Amazing views and great service at the front desk for anything you need. It is right next to Elk River Rentals, which has friendly staff for tuning up your boards and skis at a very affordable price. I'm looking forward to coming back in the next two months.

Great location but sub-par bedroom/kitchen

PROS: Beautiful sunrise/view, ski in/out, quiet at night and decent bathroom/living area. CONS: we did not get a good sleep because the window in the bedroom looking into the public hallway was letting in too much light (there is no way to adjust that light and the curtain was insufficient). When we arrived it was also way too hot (80F), and stagnant air which took hours of open window and fans to cool down to even be bearable. When we arrived the kitchen drain stunk and there was a detached silverware drawer crumbs. Some lights were not working as well and some pillows and bedding had crusty stains. Hosts/manager was great, but due to the state of the bedroom and bathroom will not be returning.

Perfect spot for a couple or trio

Really enjoyed the stay- everything was as described. Clean and well cared for. Communication was great and the e guestbook was very helpful! Got in some great runs on the mountain and was able to enjoy the evening night life. Would stay again, for sure!
