“I was quite disappointed with my stay. The breakfast was terrible — very limited options and not appetizing at all. The room wasn’t comfortable; I could hear the neighbors talking and even snoring through the walls. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and to make things worse, the noise from the birds outside kept me up most of the night. Overall, not a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t stay here again.
The good thing about the hotel was the location, at the heart of Carlisle. ”

“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
The room was clean and lovely, the staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast was very filling and delicious. Also, the hotel has spacious parking, and it is not too far from Windermere station, the lake, or many restaurants and shops. Each is about a 10-15-minute walk away.
I would strongly recommend this hotel as a comfortable base for enjoying the Lake District.
The only slightly disappointing point was that we were not informed...
