The room was very clean and well appointed. Most of the employees we encountered were friendly and hospitable. The restaurants were clean and waitstaff accommodating, though not all were knowledgeable regarding menu offerings and on one occasion our server disappeared. Dine-in food was delicious. “The Ski Inn would be a great place as a medium sized family gathering or just as a drop-in off the road & leave next morning or after a day of sking. The economy room is very tight, just enough space for 1 person to walk around the bed ( there were no other sized rooms available when I was booking for a place to drop for night to break up long drive in our travel.)The worse thing is the lock system- I am well educated and typically very good at figuring out how things work. “The room was clean, the property was well located and easy to find. But it missed basic amenities. We booked a double queen room for 3 nights. It didn’t have any cabinet/closet/storage area. Neither did it have paper plates towels or basic kitchen necessities. It didn’t even have shower gel or handwash in the bathroom. For the price we paid, the experience was subpar. :(”

“The hotel is right next to the ocean, wonderful location. The staff is super nice & helpful, provide all the surroundings information. The room is clean with refrigerator & microwave, coffee maker. Very satisfied with our stay.”

“We had a small porch which faced a babbling brook. It had a fire pit. We enjoyed sitting and watching wildlife. There was a moose who walked through. The was a Dipper bird, which is a songbird that can dive in the water and collect insects. Bathrooms were in a separate building. Very high quality bathroom and showers. They were a short distance. We were very happy for our two days. It was very close to Seward.”

“Sometimes a hotel looks too good to be true! That is not the case with this hotel. It is as good as it looks in the pictures and better! Cheyenne and Angie have worked hard to renovate this hotel and make it a special spot for visitors to land. And it shows in all the many details. “This hotel was under construction when we checked in . But the staffs were extremely helpful in everything. There is no elevator in the property but the staffs helped us carrying up & down our luggages . They even helped us loading our car . The rooms were very clean and the staffs made sure we had everything we need for our stay . Our special thanks goes to Mike & Amanda who made our stay very comfortable & memorable also .”

“If you are looking for a cozy and comfortable cabin to enjoy views and nature with modern conveniences this is the spot! You can enjoy coffee and a book on the patio in the morning, go for a hike in the afternoon, and then relax in the hot tub in the evening. The only downside is that the cabin uses well water, so it is a bit sulfur smelling, though that is expected for a more off the beaten path spot. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a more quiet and serene experience!”
