Hotell i South Shore

“We toured NS, PEI and NB for 19 days in October 2026. This property was the best value. Great lobby amenities - work stations, foosball, gym, pool, food concession and great comp breakfast. Staff was very good - efficient, friendly and helpful. Great and plentiful free parking. Would stay here again - highly recommend!”

“Very clean, comfy beds, soft toilet paper, best handsoap. Quiet.”

“The house and room were clean. A good breakfast was served.”

“A wonderful, wonderful stay in October 2026. Angela is an awesome host! Very personable, efficient, organized and friendly. The property is a very well kept - very clean maintaining a historical theme. Location is outstanding on the waterfront within walking distance of most shops and restaurants. Highly recommend - will stay here every time we return to Digby!”

“Spacious room. Good breakfast and was looked after by the staff. Internet worked well. Clean. Friendly staff.”

“Peaceful and clean. Wonderful.”

“Definitely not the best stay I’ve had at any motel/hotel. The property was pretty run down and the room itself was really dusty. There was this door mat that was not held down by anything like a carpet runner and slid around whenever walked on. I rolled it up and tossed it aside because it was dangerous. The heat was difficult to turn up, you had to press really hard and like wiggle your finger around, but to turn it down it was easy. The plug situation was weird. Not really close to the bed but...

“I have stayed at the Blackforest cabins four times now and every time we have a very clean positive experience. There has been great communication and easy instructions for checking in and checking out. I wish they had deals for reoccurring customers because it is pretty expensive to stay even for one night.”

“nice and friendly staff, room was spotless had a great stay”

“The hotel was very clean and comfortable and staff were really great. We were also very pleased with the breakfast which is included in the stay; the homemade fishcakes were a welcome surprise. The main areas such as the one with the fireplace is lovely with a feel for the history of the place. There's some little touches that need updating, but overall, a nice stay.”
