There were drug deals all around us and people yelling and going in and out of their rooms as late as 4am. I was surprised that check-in was through a window with bulletproof glass, and I think that’s somewhat reflective of the neighborhood. “The room looked clean and the beds were neat. However, there was a smell that was like that of homeless people who have not showered for days. I also saw a few cockroaches (or other bugs) in the bathroom area. There are nearby restaurants and a grocer, and the freeway is very close. This location is convenient for travel. I did not use laundry service and my interaction with the staff was minimal but okay.”

“Parking was easy and the hotel was easy to find. Beautiful pool but sadly it was closed for some reason. It did appear that there were two vehicles that were packed with stuff, and that people might be living in the vehicles. The room was clean but floor needed to be washed. The staff didn’t even smile when I checked in and out but when I returned to get my phone charger I left - she did give me a lil grin when I returned the key.
