“Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Shower was great - everything was great except the rugs inside the rooms are old and felt damp always. Maybe it was more about the humidity but they just felt gross. I really enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and being able to go up to the village which had so many wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. “Very nice place in lovely Manchester. Picked the hotel because it has pool and the kids love that, especially when it is as hot as it was this day.
But we were told that the pool pump was broken since several days and the front desk didn’t seem to care at all about it or that we were disappointed. Not so serviceminded.

“Weird robot-like hotel with no staff on site when we arrived. Check-in was online, a bit confusing (even for the young people in our party), and cameras in common areas monitoring everyone felt dystopian. Rooms were tiny, but well-appointed. Strange stay.”
“We had never been to Manchester before but when we drove past it, I noticed it immediately. They happened to have 1 room left for my son & I so we were very lucky to stay there. We enjoyed everything about it - the comfy beds & cute rooms, sitting by the pool drinking a glass of wine, walking around the historic house, rocking in a chair on the front porch, the close vicinity to a couple of restaurants and just chatting with the staff. We had to leave early the next morning which bummed us out...
