  • Newly constructed home with two separate and private units (no shared space). This listing is solely for the lower unit VRBO 2614351, which has 1 bedroom and 1 full bath and is fully furnished. A fully outfitted kitchen, dining area (for up to 4) and sitting area (two plush rockers, with ottomans) will make you feel at home. A laundry facility (washer and dryer) is also available for your convenience. A beautiful outdoor deck with 2 comfortable Adirondack chairs overlooks the wooded property. Just minutes from downtown Kenai, Soldotna and Kasiloff. New water filtration system installed in 2023 and high speed internet 150Mbps. (The Upper Unit, which has 2 bedrooms is at VRBO 2397242)

Was an enjoyable and well equipped place to stay, with a good bed and fairly quite. The next doors dog dose come to visit and has left "surprises" right next to the path.

Great location near Soldotna.

The property was very nice, clean and comfortable. The home had everything we needed for our stay and is located close to Soldotna with stores and restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting the beautiful state of Alaska!

Had a wonderful stay in this place only for two nights but it was the perfect rest spot with everything we could need! Hosts were super responsive and communicated so well. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful spot

This is a lovely, cozy space, perfect for 1 or 2. It is just as the pictures show and has a beautiful view from the dining table. I had prompt responses from the manager, and clear communication. The bed is extremely comfortable! I would be happy to stay here again.

Peaceful and restful stay

This property was perfectly located at a quiet location, just a short drive from town. When we walked in, my wife said “This is wonderful!” And then repeated it every day during our stay. We loved sitting on the patio each evening. This property will definitely be a priority site for our next Alaska trip.

Beutiful, comfortable space. So nice to stay in a property that is new and not a rustic shack. There is a time and space for rustic shacks, but if you are not looking for that, then this is your place.

Soldotna Lodge

We loved our stay at the Birch Bend lower unit---all the conveniences of home in a bright, new, well-equipped space! The design of the home is lovely and the décor is tastefully done. We loved the artwork which included beautiful photos of Alaska. This was a perfect base for us to use for day trips to Homer and elsewhere. Would absolutely stay again!
