Beautiful historic home staring at Flathead Lake! Large windows offer a view from the entire main floor, even the bathtub! Situated across the street from Somers Bay boat launch, you are in the heart of water activity - paddle board and watercraft rentals available across the street. Take a walk or bike ride on the walking path to downtown Somers, or walk up the road to Vista Linda restaurant! 4 miles from Lakeside, less than 10 miles from Kalispell or Bigfork, and just over 30 minutes to Whitefish or Columbia Falls. 4 queen beds dressed in soft cotton sheets and luxury comforters will make for a restful night of sleep. Hypo-allergenic detergent used on all items. House is sanitized and deep cleaned after each use.

Great place, but lacking cooking/ serving supplies

All good except kitchen lacking in cooking/ serving had to borrow from nearby family to cook simple meal. Not a single serving or salad bowl. Most cupboards empty. I like to cook while traveling. Nice place otherwise

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our time at the lake. The home was charming and Zena was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was very responsive to any inquiry we had. The only down sides for us were how hot the house was and the road noise. We live in a mountain area without air conditioning so we are used to dealing with summer heat, but several of the windows in the home did not open or did not have screens so we didn't want to open them because of the mosquitos that would come in. Day temps sometimes reached the 90s so it got uncomfortable at times. Zena was quick to respond by providing fans which helped a lot. And of course we spent a lot of time in the lake which was wonderfully refreshing. The beds and linens were comfortable. The house was clean. The bathroom was very well stocked. (Note- there is a vertical window in the tub area that looks out to the lake, which is neat for the view but does mean your whole naked self is exposed to anyone who might happen to be looking). We were able to rent boats and jet skis right across the street. For us the fenced yard wouldn't have kept our dog in so we just kept him on leash during our time there. For a small dog or one who doesn't like to escape it would be fine. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Thanks Zena!

Boon Rd

Everything was fine except for accessing 93 taking a left to go towards Somers. Lots of traffic. Nice quick walk to Somers and also the public beach. Definitely would stay there again!

Everything you need and set up well!

Everything you need and set up really well! Walk right across the street to swimming and boat rentals. We had so much fun! Hosts were responsive and great with any questions we had! Booked again for August because it was just so easy and comfortable.

Cozy & Comfortable

We stayed at this property during the 4th of July week with a group of 9. The property has a great view of the lake and is just across the road from a boat launch & a swimming area. There is a paved walking path that follows the lake. We were able to watch the fireworks from the front patio/covered porch. The house was very clean and the hosts provided Coffee and a complimentary bottle of wine from the local winery! There were 4 beds that were very comfortable and easily slept 2 people (per bed). The kitchen was just right for our group and the hosts provided almost anything you could need to cook with (untinsels, pots, pan, etc). The house is located just a short drive from some great local restaurants, shops, and state park areas. The only draw backs to the house were that there is only one batch room. We had 9 people and from time to time would have a small line, but the bathroom can be closed/sectioned off so that a person can shower without holding up the rest of the bathroom. The other was that in the evenings the sun shining through the windows in the kitchen can make it pretty hot, especially when you are cooking. Some blinds/curtains would fix this. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we enjoyed it very much. The hosts were great a very quick to respond and very accommodating. I would recommend this VRBO to friends and family and will likely stay again next time we visit Fathead Lake
