This historic, renovated vacation home awaits you in the historic heart of Sommerhausen. Pastoriusgasse was named after the founder of the first German colony in the U.S.—Franz Daniel Pastorius.

From the vacation home’s balcony, you can look out over the old market square and the Pastorius House. Here, you can wind down on balmy summer evenings with a nice glass of Franconian wine.

On the first floor of the vacation home, there is a garage for one car (max. Golf size) and additional storage rooms for storing bicycles or similar items. Public and free parking spaces are located in the immediate vicinity (approx. 2–5 minutes’ walk—depending on which one you choose). One of the parking lots also features a charging station for electric cars.

The living area on the first floor consists of two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a French bed), a children’s room with a bunk bed, a spacious living room, a bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen with a small dining area, and a second separate dining area.

Of course, in addition to a TV connection, free Wi-Fi is also available.

There is a small supermarket (Main Laden—open 7 days a week) as well as various restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity. The Main River is about a 3-minute walk away (Main Bike Path). Additional dining options are just a few minutes away by bike (or by car), either upstream or downstream along the Main.

Thanks to excellent access to the highway, bus service, and the nearby train station in Winterhausen, day trips in all directions are possible.

Another special feature is a stairlift from the first floor to the living area, allowing people with certain physical limitations to navigate the stairs. Within the living area, there are step-ups between room transitions, so it is not completely barrier-free.

Sommerhausen is located in the heart of the Main Triangle. Würzburg is about 15 km away, Ochsenfurt about 6 km, and Kitzingen about 20 km. There are many recreational activities in and around Sommerhausen. Even more distant cities such as Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Bad Mergetheim, Schweinfurt, Bamberg, and Bayreuth can be reached in 30 to 90 minutes.
The amusement parks in Geiselwind and Tripsdrill can also be reached in about 30 minutes and about 60 minutes, respectively.
Many outdoor pools, thermal baths, and water parks are also nearby (e.g., Ochsenfurt Outdoor Pool, Aqua Sole Kitzingen, Nautiland Würzburg, Solymar Bad Mergetheim, Kissalis Bad Kissingen, Palm Beach Fürth/Nuremberg).
