Couples Getaway
Beautiful home, set up with a quiet, country view. The home was nicely decorated and had a lot of amenities. This was near many wineries and restaurants. The owners were communicative, checking in to ensure the stay was going well and that we had no needs. Overall, this was perfect for three couples getting away for a stay in Wine Country! Thank you!!

Amazing property!
My wife, son and I chose this property for an extended weekend visit to the wine country. As previous guests have said, the property is awesome and Michael is an amazing host. We will definitely book here again if we return to Napa/Sonoma in the future.

Girls trip
We spent 4 amazing days at this beautiful property. The best part of this property is the backyard and pool. Stunning views from the deck. The house itself was roomy and the beds were very comfortable. Although the kitchen and is a bit dated, it’s fully equipped with everything you need. Mike the property manager was very attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will be definitely book this gorgeous property again.

Sonoma Raceway Trip
We were looking to stay at a quiet and peaceful home after attending Sonoma Raceway events and this property was just perfect! The owner is very communicative and helpful which was very nice! This sprawling ranch-style home is clean and nicely decorated. It has a roomy floor plan, great kitchen/dining area, and a beautiful deck/seating area out back. The beautifully landscaped backyard and pool area were amazing with views of the Sonoma hills, vineyards, and sunsets! A lot of extras like bocci ball, bicycles, foosball and more! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay and look forward to rebooking in the near future!

Wonderful home
We had a glorious time at the home. The property was super clean and so well equipped. The garden is beautiful, we couldn’t stop taking pics of all the roses and flowers. We came as a group of friends but wish we’d bought our kids too. Michael was super helpful with recommendations for wineries and places to eat. Would 100% rebook the property.

Wonderful oasis in Sonoma
Superbly managed and beautifully cared for property. The owners have thought of everything. This was a life-changing break after 30 months of semi quarantine in a retirement community for me and my daughter, son- in- law and grandchildren. The pool is protected by a cover and surrounded by lavender and roses and other flowers and heated to perfection if you need it. Wi-Fi is excellent throughout the house. A manual explains how everything works. A really perfect break after a difficult couple of years. We will go back ASAP.

Place is top notch, host was fantastic, house had everything you could need. Close to town but felt like you had the valley to yourself. Beds super comfy, great outdoor furniture, and a nice Tv room to close out the night.

Perfect Getaway
This house was a perfect place to accommodate 3 couples for a fun wine weekend getaway. It was very clean, well laid out with plenty of space to gather and socialize and a beautiful view. The host was also very friendly and helpful and made plenty of recommendations on restaurants and wineries nearby.

Fantastic Sonoma getaway
We love this place! It's tucked away enough so that it feels like a peaceful getaway from the city, but very close to restaurants, shops, etc. And the property itself is fantastic: very comfortable and homey, with a beautiful pool and plenty of games to keep kids occupied. Mike is a phenomenal and incredibly responsive host. Thanks so much to the Ragones for making our break from the city so peaceful and stress-free!

Perfect for a group!
House is clean, spacious, cozy and well decorated. It was perfect for our girls trip! Everyone had their own bed and with 3 bathrooms, there was plenty of space for all five of us to get ready in the morning and freshen up for dinner. We had a great time drinking wine, playing games and dancing in the evening. I would recommend this property to any family or group. The view is beautiful. Our hosts were kind and checked in to be sure everything was going well.

Four Seasons of VRBO Rentals !
Ragone Ranch is hands down the most memorable rental that my family and I have stayed at. There are so many reasons that we loved this property. Cleanliness: Often times, when you rent a home instead of staying in a hotel, you give up cleanliness. However, Ragone Ranch was spotless and probably cleaner than a hotel room. I walked around the house bare feet and by the end of the day my feet were still clean. Everything in the house is so well organized and it made you feel as though you were in a 4-star resort. There is also plenty of cleaning supplies on hand such as Clorox wipes and soap. Comfort: The beds and furniture are all new. My husband and I typically have trouble sleeping in a bed outside of our own home, however we slept so well here. The pillows and bed was super comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the TV room, which also had a comfortable couch that my kids enjoyed lounging in. The house is spacious and the property is massive. Quality: Ragone Ranch puts a lot of care in their home. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a home where all the amenities were brand name. The bathrooms were well stocked with good quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Location: Perfect location to feel like you’re away from everything, but still 10 minutes away from Sonoma Square and wineries. Other: The house has plenty of stuff to keep kids busy. My kids are 1 and 5 and there were an assortment of balls, toys, legos, and board games available for them to play with. Also, I appreciated the access to various streaming channels on TV such as Netflix and Amazon. We also went to the pool each day and had the pool heated - Mike was able to facilitate this remotely and made sure the temperature was perfect for my 2 kids. Overall: We would definitely come back to Ragone Ranch and recommend this property to friends and family. This home is not only great for families, but it would be perfect for couples or a friend’s trip. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The hosts are both warm and well-organized, making us feel we were house swapping with friends. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Sonoma Stay
Perfect for our family getaway to Sonoma! The house was extremely clean and well maintained. The host is very attentive and goes the extra mile to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Fantastic Place and Very Attentive Owners
A great place nestled in the outskirts of Sonoma and only about 10 minutes from Sonoma Center. Owners keep house immaculate and photos do not to the place justice. House is more spacious than it looks, very clean and everything is just wonderful. Owner was so easy to work with and helped with every little question we had. Would definitely recommend again and again!

An oasis in Sonoma with great hosts
We wanted to escape the pandemic for a week in Sonoma as a family of four and we couldn't have found a better place than Ragone Ranch. As a family, we were looking for a comfortable & luxurious place with a pool. And given the current state of the world and having 2 kids under 2, it was super important to us that the place was clean, and not just on the surface but in every aspect deep cleaned. Ragone Ranch delivered all of this and more. Property is clearly recently renovated and very well taken care of. The accommodations are luxurious, thoughtful and functional. We really enjoyed the sparkling and heated swimming pool, which was long enough for laps but also perfect for kids with the shallow shelf on one side. The sunsets on the deck and playing Bocce ball were fun for us parents after kids went to bed. And the entire place was squeaky clean, including the swimming pool. Mike was super responsive, thoughtful and accommodating to our needs at every step, checking in occasionally to make sure we were all comfortable. All in all a great stay at a fantastic property with great hosts. We'll be back.

Relaxing getaway
We had a wonderful week relaxing at Ragone Ranch. The highlight was the lovely warm pool that we all swam in daily. The house was extremely comfortable, nicely decorated and had all the things we needed for a week away from home. The location was great for exploring Napa Valley and even Santa Rosa and San Francisco. We hope to be back one day!

Memorial Day Stay 2021
We had a wonderful stay at this Sonoma home, which is located in the midst of farms and vineyards. The setting is idyllic, though the house is just a few miles from downtown Sonoma. The owners were enormously responsive, and clearly put a great deal of care and love into their home, which is charming. The kitchen is very well equipped, the pool fabulous, and we found everything clean and well maintained. It's a great place for kids with a basketball net, bocce court and all kinds of pool floats and toys. Yet there is a sophistication to the decor and high-tech accoutrements. All in all, a great house for a Sonoma getaway.

Sonoma Country Home in Excellent Locale, with Views to Hills. Casual Sophistication in Wine Country
Our family of 6 adults were bowled over by Mike and Katie’s Sonoma home. You walk in and see the view to the backyard deck and pool, which face the hills to the west. The neighboring homes are far enough away that you know you are in the country. There are horses nearby as well as some sheep and goats. For us San Franciscans, this was a welcome respite. Everything about the home and surrounding property is first class. Lovely, sophisticated but comfortable furniture, nicely furnished bedrooms, very comfortable beds, a kitchen stocked with all the tools a home chef could imagine, top quality linens, etc., etc. The home is situated about an 8 minute drive away from grocery stores and conveniences. We used their bikes to ride into the well-known square in town. Mike is very responsive to your inquiries and wants to make sure you have everything you need. They even offered to connect us with one of their favorite Sonoma county wineries for an outside tasting. What a treat. We felt very well taken care of. If you have the chance, we would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Ragone ranch.

Fantastic stay
We had a wonderful stay at the property! Owners went the extra mile to ensure cleanliness. Backyard is wonderful with a very clean pool; water was just the right temperature. Dry landscape with mountains in the backdrop was perfect to escape the city of San Francisco. We’ll likely find ourselves back here again soon!

Wonderful wedding weekend
Great stay at Ragone Ranch. We were in Sonoma for a wedding and stayed an extra few days for wine tasting and relaxing. Nice location on a quiet road, beautiful views and a great outdoor space. The pool was a nice add as it was a warm weekend. The house had everything we needed for our group of 3 couples. The rooms were roomy and the beds comfortable. The only suggestions I would make would be for the private queen room to have an accessible closet (there is a locked one in the hall) and to add a fan for that room since there is no ac on that end of the house. The evenings cooled down nicely so it was never hot, but it was warm two of the nights even with the windows open. The furniture was nice and comfy and there was plenty of room in the kitchen for eating and cooking. We loved the outside living space. We would definitely stay here again.

Ahhh-mazing Property!
Annual trip for 3 couples looking to change things up and so happy to find Ragone Ranch! Every detail is considered by Mike and Katie to make your stay absolutely enjoyable. Aside from the cozy couches, throw blankets for cool evenings, rain shower heads and the stocked kitchen, I have to mention the beds! Every single person woke up on the first day saying that it was best nights sleep they had ever had!! We are all planning to invest in new mattresses now! Mike and Katie were in touch through the whole process and checked in on us to ensure our stay was everything we expected. We couldn't be happier and wish we could give this property more than 5 stars! Looking forward to our visit next year at Ragone Ranch!

Wonderful stay!
Home was lovely and perfect for 4 adults and 2 grandchildren, The children enjoyed the room with the bunk beds. There were toys and games and in fact my husband taught our 2 grandsons(6&8))how to play chess. The home was so comfortable and welcoming and so well equipped with everything we needed. The views are amazing. We took advantage of the lovely pool and of dinner on the deck every evening, I would highly recommend this home. Michael is always available if needed.We’ll be back! Beautiful surroundings and home! Perfect location!!!
My 5 friends and I spent a long weekend at the Ragone Ranch. We immediately felt at home. The furnishings are lovely, we loved the views from all windows, beautiful outdoor space, (although it was too cool during our stay to enjoy the pool and deck), very well stocked kitchen, especially comfy beds, and great rain showers in the beautiful bathrooms. It was quiet and we enjoyed the country feel of the area, yet just a few minutes from Sonoma. Close by were Napa, Calistoga, Yountville and dozens of wineries. Michael and Katie were wonderful hosts, checking in and making us feel welcome via text and emails. I highly recommend this home.!!

Beautifully remodeled and great location
We recently stayed here for a girls getaway. When we pulled up we were not sure what to expect, but the house was beautiful. The interior was recently renovated and the decor was beautifully decorated. The backyard had a sitting area that overlooked the mountains and provided great views of the sunset. A short distance to town but located in the county. We would love to go back again in the summer when we could use the pool. The only con was the WiFi service was spotty at times but that is typical in rural settings. I highly recommend this property for a girls, couples, or family getaway.

Beautiful Property!!!
My husband and I stayed at this home with another couple for 3 nights. This home is beautiful and VERY clean. We toured wineries in both Napa and Sonoma. The house is in a great location. In fact, we used Uber or Lyft to go the short distance to downtown Sonoma a a few times during our stay. The backyard view is AMAZING!!! We enjoyed cooking dinner at the home one evening and sitting on the back deck. Michael was very helpful and provided every amenity possible. Thank you for the recommendation list. I highly recommend The girl & the fig! Napa and Sonoma have forever been somewhere I've wanted to visit. Thank you for making it such a special trip. We've already started talking to friends and family about going back. We'll be sure to book the Ragone Ranch again! If you're thinking of staying in the Sonoma/Napa area... this is the house to book! * We left shortly before the fires started in Napa and Sonoma. Perfect home for a stay in Somoma.
We couldn't have picked a better place for our stay in the Somoma Area. This house is newly renovated and spotlessly clean with a great pool and view. Relaxing around the pool and enjoying the view is a perfect way to unwind after a day of wine tasting and sight seeing. It comfortably accommodated 5 adults and provided everything needed for our stay. The owner Mike couldn't have been more helpful. Our stay at Ragone Ranch was absolutely The Best find in Sonoma. Its amazing Inside and Out. All New Interior, picture perfect and relaxing for our whole family. They have thought of every comfort to make this HOME. Kitchen complete with every convince, All new Linens AND 3 baths all with GREAT Spa Showers. It was a very busy Wedding Week for us and to return to the Calm of the new pool, in this beautiful country setting was a real treat.
