“We were never able to stay at the house, things on our side, kept changing and didn’t work out,. I had to change the date a couple of times and then had to end up canceling at the last minute, but the host was very accommodating and worked with me as much as possible. Even though I didn’t see the house, I would stay there if ever visiting Sonora because I do know that it was a great location as I am familiar with Sonora.”

“The Straw Bale House is a beautiful home and perfect for bird and nature lovers. The owners were exceptionally responsive and made us feel welcome and at home. The gentle water fountain was a star attraction for birds and was soothing to drift off to sleep as it is right outside the main bedroom. Best of all, the owners are bird lovers and have many seed feeders and hummingbird feeders set up. For nature photography this is a super setup. The pond is a five-minute walk down the hill on the trail...
