“We had an amazing experience at Hotel Della Fortezza! The unique atmosphere and historic setting made our stay truly special. What really stood out to us was the hotel’s strong commitment to sustainability — from eco-friendly practices to their focus on local, organic products. “The apartment was dark and outdated. The sofabed felt dirty on the outside. Outside there were plastic furniture to use, also dirty. The pool felt in need of renovation. The staff were friendly and if you are not that picky of the standard it felt homey. We ended up renting another place for a few days, even though we couldn't get the money back, we were quite disapointed.”

“La casa ù ben posizionata ma necessita di manutenzione, un bagno perde l’acqua, due volte richiesto l’intervento di in idraulico per mancanza di acqua calda questo in pochi giorni di Spa per rilassarsi non ù gratificante. In cucina mancano gli utensili per preparare una cena per 5. Bicchieri e piatti sono contati.. a parte questi dettagli. Ci ù piaciuto molto lo staff ù cordiale il ristorante ù molto buona e le piscine sono molto pulite e piacevoli.”

“The location was lovely, with beautiful and relaxing hot spring fed pools and a great spa area for treatments. the apartment was adequate but the furniture and kitchen applicances coud be better. The sofa was not comfortable as it was old and had the cushion worn out; the kitchen needs a coffee maker and a few more hand tools; it would be nice to have salt and pepper; oil and vinegar; and paper towels on hand. we had to buy all those things for a short four day stay. ”

"This was the best stay we ever had in Italy. The hotel is very genuine in the heart of Toscana, everything is thought through into every detail. Soreno is the most beautiful little Italian village looking almost carved out of the mountain it stands on and not overloaded with tourists. Their own restaurant serves amazing food with only locally produced products. However the best part of the stay was the staff, everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming, gave local recommendations and told us about the thoughts behind the dinner menu, making our stay the best."
