Fantastiskt!

We can warmly recommend Dea Guest House, we have visited Sorrento four times and stayed in different hotels, but the stay at Dea Guest House was the best so far. Beautifully renoveted rooms, great location on Corso Italia, close to everything, nice arranged breakfast in restaurants near by. Herman and crew gave us fantastic recommendations for place to visit and restaurants, we really enjoyed our stay and are already planning a new visit.

One of our best stays in Europe. Building, comfortable and nice room, best location and the most important: everything attached to a great host (Herman) willing to provide you the best experience. He organized from airport pickup driver to the best tour experiences. All perfect!!!

Perfect location, wonderful service!

Herman went above and beyond to help us out - we were stranded when our Circumvesuviana train caught fire (don’t use this line, book a transfer!) and he helped to get us collected and transferred to the apartment. Once there he provided a list of great restaurants, sights to see and was on hand to answer any questions. Location is fantastic! We are so happy we chose this place as it is perfect for walking and exploring Sorrento. So many hotels look close but are actually up in the hills, so if you plan on walking this cannot be beaten. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious and, considering it is on the main restaurant street, surprisingly silent. It is clear Herman really takes care of the place and loves what he does.

A Gem In Sorrento

From the moment I made the reservation to the morning of our departure, Herman was like a personal assistant. He arranged car service, tours, gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations, and checked in on us throughout our 4 day stay. The room was very clean, light and airy. The bed was very comfortable and clean towels/linens are by the guest request. Buy a bottle of wine and sit on the balcony, and sip as you watch the bustle on Corso Italia. This hotel is perfectly situated to get to the train station for trips to Pompeii and Napoli; boat tours to Capri; tours to the Amalfi coast. And for shopping and dining, nothing was more than a 20 min walk and most were within 10 minutes. We would not hesitate to return.

Loved this little gem . Right on Corso Italia . Two minute walk to pretty much all the shopping ,eating & main square . Herman gave us a list of restaurants and we tried a few which were great . Dea Guest House is located in the heart of Sorrento on a bustling street in the historic area. Convenient to the train and ferry walking and plenty of dining options close by. Our corner room had lots of light, was comfortable and had an awesome balcony with views of the bell tower and cliff side resorts. Check in with Herman was a breeze and he enthusiastically recommended his favourite dining and gelato places. Great communication through out the process. Lovely stay at Dea.

Our host Herman was more than excellent! He met us when we arrived at the property to give us the keys and to show us our way around the property. It is located on the main thoroughfare above shops and restaurants. The hotel is about a 15-20 walk with luggage from the train station. If you can find a taxi, take it. Have them drop you off at the Hospital (taxis not allowed to pull up in front of hotel) about 2-3 min walk to hotel. The room was beautifully decorated and very spacious for the 2 of us. There was a small fridge and safe available. If you are sensitive to music and people talking and sometimes yelling on the streets below this might not be for you. We enjoyed it though and actually kept our windows opened to listen and for the ambiance. Music ended at midnight. Felt the windows were efficient at minimizing the sound when closed. Herman gave us recommendations for restaurants, gelato, bars and limoncello shops to try. He also arranged a private driver (not cheap) for us to get to Napoli Centrale as we decided not to brave the hot, crowded, often late local train as we did on the way in.

The Wonderful Dea Guest House and Herman!

The most amazing stay in Sorrento made all the better for our wonderful host Herman and the fantastic Dea Guest House. Great size, modern room with a balcony facing out into the heart of the city. Herman was extremely helpful and went above and beyond, offering to help arrange transfers and trips before our holiday started. We tried out almost every suggestion that he made and had the best time, ate the best food, drank the tastiest cocktails and the Gelato... I miss the Gelato already and it's only been a day! Don't hesitate!

We had a fantastic stay at Dea Guest House. From the moment we arrived, Herman, was nothing but helpful. He provided us with an extensive list of recommendations, many of which we tried during our four night stay and they were great! The accommodation is in an ideal location, walking distance to everything with a fantastic view from the balcony. There are various restaurants nearby to grab a coffee or food and plenty of people around so we always felt safe. We can’t wait to come back and explore more of Sorrento, using Dea Guest House as our base. Thanks for making this part of our trip so great!

If you are staying in Sorrento, you want to stay here! Dea Guest House is located right on the main street, close to restaurants and shopping, but our room was totally soundproofed. Blackout curtains and blinds means you will sleep soundly. Herman was excellent, providing a map and a great list of recommendations in the city. The place was very clean and the room was a great size, we will absolutely stay here again!

Excelente experiencia. Herman muy atento en todo momento, sobre todo en el check-in pese a q llegamos a las 21h. Silencioso y la cama favorece el descanso. Repetiríamos sin duda. Sorrento a nuestro juicio la mejor ciudad base para recorrer la costa amalfitana.

Excelente hotel y un gran servicio

Nos encantó el servicio, el cuarto con balcón tiene una excelente ubicación en la calle peatonal del centro con muy buen ambiente. Herman nos brindó un trato excelente, nos dio buenos tips para viajes, comida e información en general. Sorrento es precioso y de allí viajamos a a Positano y Amalfi
