Jag skulle kunna bo här igen
Det bästa var ägaren och en som arbetade på hotellet; de var trevliga på ett genuint sätt och personliga vilket jag uppskattar. Jag kände mig väldigt välkommen. Jag upplevade att de gjorde det lilla extra för mig. De älskar hundar, vilket gjorde mig och min hund mycket glada. Takterrassen har fantastisk utsikt och kändes fräsch.

Highly recommended hotel!
Very nice and affordable hotel with extremely kind and service minded staff. The room was very nice and big (incl the bath room). Really good cleaning. The breakfast is typical Italian, i.e. a little bit "lighter" than you might be used to, but OK. We recommend to get help from the staff with excursions, they helped us with both a very nice (small) bus round trip to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello and a fantastic boat trip to Capri. Easy to get to the train station with local bus from the hotel (e.g. to visit Pompeji). There is no restaurant or pool at the hotel, but for us this was no problem. Traffic is quite intense and walking to the town is for the first 150 meters a challenge.

Very nice boutique family run Hotel, the hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly! Rooms are large and traditional to the area, views of the city and ocean are insanely good! There is a Rooftop deck with a Hot Tub and a patio which we took tons of pictures. The hotel is walkable to the city, but there is also a bus that stops in front!!! Family of 5 would definitely recommend!!!

We loved our stay at Hotel Britannia. The hotel was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The staff were excellent. If we had any questions about the area and where to go, they were happy to help and provide recommendations. They made our stay comfortable! The location was great as well as the hotel was directly in front of a bus stop to get to the town centre of Sorrento. There were no complaints. Would certainly stay here again if we were to come back to Sorrento!

We had an amazing experience during our stay at hotel Britannia. The staff was always pleasant and helpful they went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay truly memorable experience. We traveled with our 8 month old baby Enzo received so much love from the staff. The hotel was clean, breakfast was delicious and the views from the hotel are truly incredible! Especially from the terrace. They assisted with booking tours and great restaurant recommendations! You must stay at this hotel if you visit Sorrento! You will not regret it! Our special gratitude to Giuseppe and his dad they truly made our trip to Sorrento unforgettable!

Het hotel vonden we best wel goed, op 1 km wandelen van het centrum. Wel even wandelen over gevaarlijke weg. Het ontbijt was gewoon ok voor Italië. De jacuzzi was heerlijk, ontzettend warm. Onze auto hadden we voor het hotel geparkeerd. Maar ze rekenden ons hier achteraf 20 euro per dag extra aan, wat we wel veel vonden, omdat je ook dit bedrag in de stad betaald. En hier moest je toch een half uur wandelen.

The front desk staff is amazing. So pleasant and smiling. I would recommend staying here. It’s 20 minute walk to downtown but I never got sick of it bc the view was incredible.

All staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended great swimming grotto. Bus stop is convenient located in front of hotel, although we were able walk into town center for dinner. (Road is busy) Serves a great Buffett breakfast. The rooftop terrace views and hot tub is a perfect place to relax.

You can hear other rooms even moving in their room. No fan in the washroom!! Washroom window open which makes night sleep hard because of the noise. There was no new toilet paper in the room when we got there!! After room service they did not add a new toilet paper or shampoo Towels quality awful Breakfast was descent No sidewalk around the hotel so not a safe commute to the city center You can find better places for the price

The Hotel Brittania was just what we needed for our stay near Sorrento. It was conveniently located on a bus route (city center of Sorrento is about 1.5 miles away), and there is an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance of the hotel. The front desk staff was exemplary! Great bar service, and a nice terrace where you can enjoy your drinks. The rooms are a bit basic but the bathroom was fine and the beds were comfortable.

Nice basic hotel but staff were great. The only downside was NO SWIMMING POOL only a jacuzzi. Taxi fares were an absolute JOKE to no fault of the hotel ( VERY VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!! )

I booked this hotel based on other reviews, the building is situated on the hill about 10-15mins walk from Sorrento town, Stefano and the crew are most accomodating and very friendly and will even help arrange trips to Amalfi, Positano and Capri. On top of the hotel are sunbeds and a jacuzzi and great view of Vesuvius. The free breakfast buffet was great. In the evenings it is nice to sit in the lemon garden by the bar. Overall this hotel is superb value and should I return Sorrento I would defininately stay here again :-)

Lovely hotel about a mile from centre of sorrento. Clean and well kept. Staff very helpful. Bus stop right outside hotel. If walking from the hotel there is no path close by. You have to walk on the road for a short distance on a busy road. Continental breakfast is good. No kettles in rooms for making hot drinks

Fantastic hotel, very clean, very very helpful staff, the man that runs the hotel is so helpful when you are trying to organise your day. Breakfast is fantastic. The hot tub on the terrace whilst looking at Mt Vesuvius is the icing on the cake. Would come back in a heartbeat

Amazing staff
Probably the nicest staff & customer service I’ve ever experienced. They were so kind & always giving recommendations for good food or things to do and I could tell they genuinely cared and wanted us to have a good time. The walk up and down was a bit worrisome at times because there’s a portion without a sidewalk and cars will go flying down the roads.

Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The property is very clean. Breakfast was good. Very convenient location with a bus stop just in front of the hotel. 10 min walk to Sorrento although risky with a portion of the way with no sidewalk.

Staff very nice. Breakfast was very good and filling. Room was very basic but had a beautiful sea view and of Mt Vesuvius. We took a bus from the train station to the hotel. It's on a busy road and you must let the driver know where to stop as there are not regular bus stops. The pink building on the left is easy to spot. The hotel assisted us in booking a professional boat trip to Amalfi and Positano that turned out really nice, 55 euros each. We much preferred this over the road or public ferries to Amalfi. The captain was personable and gave a great tour and we had plenty of time in each town.

The staff is excellent. Liked the outdoor space and including our balcony. Beautiful view. Did not like that we had to ask for an iron. The bus stop is right at the hotel. There is no sidewalk so walking to and from a nearby restaurant felt unsafe. The jacuzzi closes way too early so we were never able to use it.

Very appreciative of our stay at Hotel Britannia. After being stranded in a city 60 K from Sorrento Britannia staff found a cab who would pick us up and deliver us to the hotel.
