However, I had a very friendly check-in, a wonderful room, and the absolute difference was Lee in the bar. He was super attentive, busy, personable (we could have talked for hours about cars) and went the extra mile to look after me. He's a credit to your hotel!”

“There is no doubt that the hotel has been renovated to a luxurious, high standard and that the staff are well-trained and pleasant. And one of the charms of The Swan is that it is an old building with quirky staircases and little nooks and crannies. However, we were disturbed during the night by doors banging and people using stairs outside our room in order to access theirs. It doesn't matter how luxurious a room and a bed are if you are constantly disturbed and for this reason we don't feel...

“We had a lovely few days over the bank holiday weekend. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and both times the food was excellent with impeccable service. Breakfast was equally as good. The staff could not be more helpful. We had an amazing view from our room looking out to sea. Would definitely recommend.”
