âWe had a great time at Te Gjyshi. Located right by the fort and owned by the restaurant, with the same name, that has a long history of serving guests in Berat. The place was newly renovated and the views were better than shown in the pictures.
Restaurant served delicious Albanian cuisine and you received a discount for being a hotel guest. For breakfast you didnt get a choice to choose qhat you would like but what they served was again delicious.

âGreat rooms, immaculate, comfortable, air conditioning good when I worked out how to work it. First remote was broken but reception quickly gave me a replacement.
Rooms very spacious. Good breakfast selection. They took orders for coffee, the rest was buffet. Very helpful with taxi and directions to chemist due to me being unwell. Beautiful breathtaking views from breakfast table. We would definitely stay here again. Right in centre as well, 20 mins or so walk to the castle, 5 mins from river...
âIt felt more like staying at a distant relative's house than a hotel. The place itself and the rooms were very clean and the host along with other workers were very helpful and kind. There was nice selection offered for breakfast and all the jams were homemade.
Overall it was a great experience. The only thing that would've made it better if shampoo and conditioner was available in the showers.
