The food on the first night was almost inedible: we sent back the mahi mahi (I think that's what it was) because it was so rock hard/overcooked that it wouldn't chew down. We then ordered the pizza: the dough was so soft and uncooked that we just ate the toppings. We then started simply eating away from the place. “We had an amazing stay at this resort in Dominica—it truly felt like an escape into nature. The views were incredible, and the whole setting was peaceful and refreshing. “The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!”

“The quiet environment of Berkey's Jungle Paradise is outstanding. It was fantastic to relax in the hammock at the terrace. And the views from the accomodation is really stunning. If you like to walk many tourist facilities like the Trafalgar Falls and Wotten Waven are at relative short distance (30-40 minutes walk). Berkey is a very kind person willing to assist you at all times. So the place is higly recommended ”

“Resort was beautiful! Rooms were clean staff was friendly and helpful . Restaurant upstairs by the pool was delicious! The ONLY problem was the road to get up to the resort itself . A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !”
