Beautiful quaint property sitting on Souris River and overlooking Colville Bay. Minutes walk to Souris Beach which is known for great sea glass hunting. Conveniently located minutes from the Town of Souris while still being in the country. A beautiful property with a large yard for yard games . A screened in deck allows you to enjoy any evening. Walk to the beach or take your bike and hop on the confederation trail for miles of beautifully cared for Trails that spans the whole Island. Enjoy the wifi and TV on raining days. Booked this cottage for a crew working in the area. They enjoyed being able to cook their meals instead of eating out all week and found the accommodations comfortable and convenient.

The cottage was lovely and clean. The hosts were friendly and made sure everything was good. We would suggest an extra mirror somewhere in the house, as the only one is in the bathroom. We were 3 women trying to get ready for a dinner at Bay Fortune. Other than that everything was fine and we enjoyed our time there.

Perfect home base to explore the East side of PEI. House was clean, comfortable and hosts very accommodating. A short drive to Basin Head beach, aka Singing Sands beach, close to Fireworks Feast at Bay Fortune and golfing options nearby as well. We very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this spot to others!

Beautiful cottage. Really relaxed and recharged on our first visit to Souris. Took in the East Point Lighthouse, Basin Head and Snhing Sands, plus Elmira and its Train Museum. Enjoyed the SourisBeach Boardwalk and the gentle sea winds. Leaving Rechargwd.

Slice of heaven on the ocean

Spacious and super clean home with a beautiful view of the ocean and kind, thoughtful and friendly hosts. We had a cozy day in and a sunny day out. We did not want to leave this magical island. It was perfect.

A Wonderful time in Souris

Our stay in Souris was absolutely beautiful, we wish it could have been longer and would be back in a heartbeat. Stunning property in a great location and Liza and her husband were very helpful and responsive hosts. Great campfire and neighbouring chickens for the kids to visit :) Beach right down the road and close to Basin Head, we would spend more time on the East side of the Island when planning our trip again.

Great place , log cabin vibe

Gorgeous cottage with lots of space for a large family of 6. Loved the outdoor shower to wash away the salt and sand after a day at the beach. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. Air conditioner worked well to cool the main floor in minutes. Kitchen was well equipped to prep most meals. Home is located minutes from Souris beach and lighthouse.Host was very kind and close by if you are in need of anything.

A Surprising Gem

It may seem hokey to have all six criteria rated a 5, but this cottage exceeded all expectations. It was comfortable with privacy and plenty of space and a nice view. The porch on one side was completely private, mostly due to a hedge that blocked the distant road. When we mentioned to the owners one morning that the kitchen was missing a few things (like a peeler, a measuring cup, etc.), they brought the items over before lunch! And it is only about 1 km to town and what certainly must be among PEI's best oysters.

Mini vacation with family

Our stay was Great. The house was clean, beds were comfortable. The location was great. We were close to grocery store, Tim Hortons and the most beautiful beach (Basin Head). The owner was more than happy to share some good places to eat, activities with the kids, and beaches to visit. She was always quick to respond. All around it was a great place to stay.
