Lieu idéal pour réunion familiale, avec nombreuses activités sportives sur équipements de qualité
Réunion familiale pour anniversaire des 80 ans du signataire avec épouse, enfants et petits enfants. Nous avons profité d'un somptueux diner préparé et servi à table par un traiteur local. Météo assez froide qui n'a pas empêché de profiter de la piscine chauffée. Le terrain de tennis a été occupé plusieurs heures chaque jour ainsi que la table de pingpong. Nous recommandons ce site.

A beautiful, quirky house in a remote area
We had a truly wonderful week in this property. In particular the facilities were exceptional - a full sized tennis court with plenty of rackets and balls, a clean, beautiful pool with ample sun loungers, table tennis, bikes, we were kept busy! Also the kitchen was superbly equipped for large groups with three fridges, all the utensils you could ever need, and multiple dining spaces inside and out. Sandra and Thierry were extremely accommodating and friendly, and responded quickly and generously to any of our requests. Our only minor issues were with the slightly unconventional distribution of beds and toilets but we made it work. Also we had a one year old with us so we struggled slightly with all the steps around the house but again we made it work and accepted this as a part of an old property's charm. Overall we were blown away by the beauty of the place and could not fault the owners or our general experience of VRBO. Thanks so much, we'll be back!

très bel endroit avec des améliorations à entrevoir
Du bien et du moins bien ! Le batiment et l'environnement sont très beaux. Le confort est là pour un chouette séjour. Mais quelques remarques quand même : nous n'avons pas eu de "chance", la clim était en panne dans une partie des chambres et n'a été réparée que le dernier jour du séjour (en pleine canicule, ce n'est pas rien) et visiblement nous ne sommes pas les 1ers à qui c'est arrivé. La piscine a tourné et personne n'intervient au cours de la semaine pour l'entretenir : 18 personnes qui se baignent toute la journée nécessite de fait un suivi et un entretien plus intense. Enfin en suggestion d'amélioration : envisager un lot de verres en plastique pour le bord de la piscine (le verre est risqué), une machine à glaçon, 1 second lave vaisselle et une évacuation de l'evier plus efficace.

Family holiday
A beautiful property set up a small quiet road. A lovely pool area with a perfect outside seating area. Lots of sun beds and parasols for shade. The tennis court is a good quality and the grounds are rambling and quiet. The accommodation is great plenty of space. In keeping with an older property there are quaint stairs in the main house. Bathrooms and toilets to share, toilets are a little small! The annexe is very sweet with little loft rooms and wooden ladder steps. Overall a marvellous place and we hope to visit again.

A fabulous stay in a beautiful setting - perfect for a large group.
"WOW it's even better than the photos", was the response from each family as we arrived at La Bienvenue. A real treasure in the heart of the Perigord countryside. The house offers all the additional extras to entertain adults and children - a beautiful pool, full size tennis court, petanque pitch and table tennis. Also bikes to hire. The outdoor kitchen feels like you've brought the indoors outside, offering a fridge freezer, huge gas bbq, fireplace and enough seating for everyone around a beautiful wooden table. The house offers everything you could need including air condititoning, breakaways and enough crockery to cater for a small wedding! Thierry, who was our main contact is a real asset. He was particularly helpful to our multiple queries and requests and speaks good English. He even arranged for a 5 star meal to be served at the house that made us feel like we were at a wedding - canapes and champage cocktails anyone? Several restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries are within 15 minutes drive. We enjoyed river Kayaking in Neuvic and a lake with free paddleboards. The only negative we could fine were the main house downtairs bedrooms were a little musty and could do with an additional bathroom (or a toilet in the large bathroom). The doors are quite low in the dovecote building and trapdoors staircases make for an interesting toilet trip in the night - definitely two bedrooms to avoid. Overall it was a fabulous stay and the whole group would love to return.

Un très bon séjour pour l'Ascension
Nous étions 10 adultes et 6 enfants / ado. Très belle maison très bien équipée, grande et propre. Sympathique accueil de Sandra que nous remercions. L'extérieur est génial avec la piscine très bien chauffée et ses 18 transats , le tennis, table de ping pong et terrain de pétanque + les vélos qu'on a loué pour se promener sur les vois vertes aux alentours. Avec 7 chambres et 4 salles de bains, on était bien. Les chambre de la porcherie sont plus adaptées pour les ado / enfant avec le système de trappes et d'escalier assez raide pour y aller. Mes nos ados ont adoré. Tout était parfait dans cette maison et on a passé un superbe séjour. Je recommande chaudement.

Superbe gîte
Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis dans cette maison ! Nous étions 9 adultes et 8 ados . Pas le temps de s'ennuyer entre le terrain de pétanque , le terrain de tennis , la piscine, la table de ping pong et les possibilités de balades à pied ou à vélo ! Nous avons été très bien à accueilli. Maison très propre et très bien équipée !

Glorious big group holiday
The property lived up to the pictures!! We very much enjoyed the outdoor dining area, tennis courts and kitchen which was well stocked with utensils. Thierry was great dealing with any queries we had about the property and was very welcoming. Cars are a must have - Souzac down the road was brilliant and Mussidan had lots of great big shops for stocking the fridges (3 of them!). We went in April for 10 days and luckily the weather was fabulous but on the rainy days there were plenty of inside spaces to host 14 of us.

Property with the Wow Factor
It’s rare that you find a holiday destination that not just meets but exceeds your expectations. This is that property. We are a family group of ten people ranging from grandparents to babies and none of us found anything to find fault with. The property is clean, very well supplied with cooking utensils, crockery etc. and is plenty big enough to give everyone their own space. The swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis table and Pétanque Court provide outside entertainment and there is a games box for when the weather is not so good. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property to another family group.

Wonderful converted barn
This is a wonderfully quirky converted farm building and as such has idiosyncrasies associated with such properties such as low beams and doorways, uneven floors and steps. In the main building there are only 2 WC's which serve 9 people and both cubicles are very small. The pool is fantastic with plenty of loungers and parasols. There is a well equipped kitchen and spacious living and dining areas. This is a very quiet rural location but the nearest town is less than 15 minutes away.

Séjour parfait
Nous étions un groupe d'amis avec des enfants adolescents, nous avons tous apprécié l'espace du logement (particulièrement la cuisine très conviviale et le salon du haut), le terrain de tennis, la grande table dehors pour déjeuner le midi (même en décembre !!) et la situation ( tout proche de la forêt et des chemins de randonnées). Le logement est parfaitement équipé, très propre. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Très belle propriété
Séjour en famille très agréable dans une propriété qui possède beaucoup de charme. Seul bémol sur les chambres en dehors du bâtiment principal : isolation du pigeonnier et de sa salle de bains, les chambres de la porcherie sont très petites et leur utilisation s'applique plutôt à des jeunes. J'ai adoré le bâtiment principal, les extérieurs qui sont très bien entretenus et l'environnement très calme. Un excellent séjour !

‘La Bienvenue’ is helemaal waar
Buitengemeen vriendelijke eigenaar en locale ‘manager’, die overal in konden bemiddelen. Maaltijden via externe kok waren van een uitstekende kwaliteit/prijsverhouding. Poolhouse/buitenverblijf , zwembad, fraaie tennisbaan en het speelhuisje voor de kleinere kinderen waren de ‘kers op de taart’ voor het verblijf van ons 15en in deze smaakvol gerenoveerde boerderij. Zeker een aanrader!

Quand la déco cache la misère
Nous sommes très déçus de notre séjour dans cette maison car en voyant les photos et le descriptif nous pensions que tout était parfait mais ce n'est pas du tout le cas : Une chambre totalement inhabitable (pigeonnier) à cause des remontées de la fausse septique dont vous ne pouvez même pas imaginer l'odeur pestilentielle, linge de lit tâché et tout humide, BBQ dans un état lamentable, éclairage de la piscine en panne, four inutilisable car le joint est totalement usé, climatisation en panne dans une chambre sous les toits et je pense que j'en oublie. Nous avons donc prévenu le propriétaire de tous ces désagréments, sachant qu'il a fallu qu'on se débrouille pour installer des matelas par terre dans une chambre pour loger le couple qui était dans la chambre du pigeonnier. L'intendant qui a fait l'état des lieux de sortie n'était pas du tout étonné et nous a dit que le propriétaire ferait un geste commercial mais ce dernier n'a rien voulu entendre en prétextant qu'on devait déjà être bien contents qu'il ait accepté de reporter la location qui était à la base en juin 2020 et quand je lui ai dit que je ne manquerais pas de vous informer de l'état de sa maison, il est devenu très désagréable et limite impoli. Je ne recommande pas du tout ce bien.

Le Problème de la fosse septique a bien été réglé définitivement par le placement d'un siphon. je signale que ce problème est apparu récemment. Des locataires précédents, personne ne s'en est plaint, il suffit de lire les commentaires et de faire son jugement.

Une demeure exceptionnelle !!!
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette ancienne ferme rénovée. Tout y est a sa place et rien ne manque pour passer de tres belles vacances. C'est un endroit plein de charme decoré avec goût et ou se prête la convivialité tout en ayant chacun son petit coin d'intimité. Idealement situé, pour les amoureux de balades en forêt et la pratique du vtt. Famille et amis sont ravis de ce séjour ou nous reviendrons sûrement tellement nous avons aimé cet endroit.

Excellente semaine passées entrés amis
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette magnifique propriété avec nos amis. Le domaine superbe, avec une piscine chauffée, un terrain de tennis tout proche de la maison. Le soir nous avions eu la chance de voir quelques petits lapins, biches et sangliers se balader sur l'immense terrain. Tout était impeccable et fidèle à la description de la location. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et avons vraiment passé un agréable séjour ensoleillé ! :-)

Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Netter Kontakt mit Vermieter. Schöne Gegend, ruhig gelegen, man hat Zeit für sich und seine Freunde. Wir waren 17 Personen, und hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem Haus. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Property certainly has the wow factor as soon as you step through the courtyard door. Thierry the manager was there to meet us and show us round, he also popped in daily to check on pool levels and see if we needed anything, all non intrusive and he was always friendly and helpful. We were fortunate with the weather for late October and managed to make use of the Tennis court and swimming pool, both are absolutely perfect, we also played table tennis and used the open fire outside for a BBQ. The layout and outside areas are fantastic and with ample seating to allow all 13 of us to sit out together, which we did for lunch. Inside the property you could not wish for anything else, the bedrooms of which some are a little quirky and with low ceilings but were all excellent, clean and mattresses were good. As with outside the layout in the main building is perfect for large gatherings, the kitchen is well stocked with more than enough plates, mugs, bowls cutlery etc, in fact when opening drawers you often found more and more, large dining table. Oven was large and allowed to cook for a large group easily, plenty of pots and pans. Fridges and freezer were large (2nd one outside in BBQ area) dishwasher well used. The upstairs seating area overlooking the kitchen is fantastic (stairs are a little scary if unsteady on your feet but once up their again was plenty of seating to relax, play games, drink and chat. Wifi available and worked well. separate seating area with TV allowed for smaller breakout area if needed. Bathrooms and shower facilities and toilets are good. In the annexe area across the courtyard there were 3 more bedrooms that again were quirky in design but again were all excellent and comfortable. In summary if you are a large group looking for a quiet area getaway but with all the amenities for a great time I highly recommend this farmhouse, we ventured out to Bergerac which was very nice and Perigieux and 10 minutes drive each way to supermarket for daily fresh bread which is worth the effort, supermarket also catered for all our needs. Would definitely be somewhere i would happily endorse and recommend and may look to visit during summer months in the future.

Prachtig en rustig huis met top service
Met een groep vriendinnen hebben wij een onvergetelijke tijd gehad in Sourzac, het huis is waanzinnig mooi, tot in de details. Alles was je nodig hebt is aanwezig, dan wel niet meer dan dat. Koken, eten, slapen, zitten, relaxen, alles kan daar, ook al ben je met een grote groep! Auto wel echt nodig voor uitstapjes of boodschappen doen, maar verder is er genoeg vermaak bij het huis. Heidi heeft ons goed ontvangen en was ook bereikbaar en stond voor ons klaar bij vragen/kleine problemen. Thierry de tuinman kwam zo nu en dan langs, wat zorgde dat wij een schoon zwembad hadden en wespennesten direct weg gewerkt werden! Top vakantie gehad, beter huis konden wij ons niet wensen, aan iedereen aan te bevelen!

Fantastisch verblijf & onvergetelijke vakantie
Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van het geweldige huis in de mooie Dordogne. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien en we waanden ons in een luxe omgeving; zwembad met heerlijke ligbedden, zeer ruime keukens met meer dan genoeg mogelijkheden en mooi ingerichte kamers. Overal is aan gedacht een ook voor gezinnen met kinderen is het huis geschikt. We werden hartelijk ontvangen, waarna we gelijk in het heerlijke zwembad konden springen. Ook van de tafeltennistafel hebben we gebruik gemaakt. Voor ons een vakantie om nooit meer te vergeten, dank jullie wel :).

Site très agréable et maison décorée avec gout
Séjour pour nous retrouver et nous ressourcer entre amis : 8 adultes et 9 enfants. Les photos sont conformes : la maison est restaurée et décorée avec gout. Tout est fait pour s'y sentir comme chez soi. Coté nature, nous étions réveillés au son des chants d'oiseaux : très agréable. Pensez également à prendre vos baskets pour faire un petit footing dans la forêt d'à coté ! Coté culturel, sa situation nous a permis de découvrir Périgueux, Bergerac et faire une visite de vignoble à Montbazillac. En bref, la Bienvenue porte parfaitement son nom.
