“It is right on the lake so that's a plus. It was quiet and clean with comfy beds. We stayed 3 weeks, we were contacted once about someone parking in the wrong spot. It was not us, couldn't they have checked whose car it was before contacting us about such a thing. I really thought they were contacting us to see how our stay was going. The whole thing, from booking, our 21 day stay and our checkout was so impersonal. No human interaction other than us asking housekeeping for a change of towels....

“Seemed kind of run down but we had no other options. Spend the extra $ and at least go to Hampton inn, if beach is t that important. Very hard beds, no extra pillows for the hard bed”

“This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again.”

“Clean bedroom and facilities. Nice breakfast including biscuits and gravy! Welcoming staff. The pool area had some maintenance work going on but pool and hot tub were open. We liked the side deck and fireplace where you can see the sunset from. Better than expected for the price!”

“I appreciate the service; the staff were very friendly. The hotel exceeded my expectations—it is beautiful. I loved going down for my morning coffee—the espresso was my favorite—as well as the cleanliness of the room, the balcony, and the spectacular view. I hope we can return someday.”

“Room was nice beds were pretty comfortable. We had a view of the parking lot so that wasn’t great but could also see golf course a bit too. Checkin and checkout were very easy and quick. Overall good service. The hot tub wasn’t working properly though and wasn’t very clean, pool was ok. For the price we expected a bit better honestly. Would stay here again but at that price we have stayed at other hotels in the area that we would likely pick over this one and closer to Traverse city downtown.”

“Water pressure and drainage good, location good, fluffy white towels, clean shower curtain, comfortable bed, windows that open. Small frig worked. Didn’t use stove. Rooms seemed as clean as could be for the aged condition. Floors are gritty with cut up and mismatched linoleum. No tv in bedroom, water has iron, stains in the tub and sink and also stains your hair. No hair dryer, no breakfast. Room 4 is next to the mechanical room and you can hear noise all night. Did not use heat or air. Didn’t...

“Perfect! We happened to stay on the first two nights that the resort was opened. While they were finishing the last minute touches(literally) we enjoyed every bit of this place! The pool, hot tub, sauna, beach, fire pits, waterfront! So calm in the morning and the view from our balcony was to die for! Unfortunately, we were in town for a softball tournament so we couldn’t spend as much time at the resort but from the staff, to the rooms, it was all perfect! They definitely have a good thing...

“The staff is very rude. The whole Hotel smells like there’s a gas leak. When you use the pool and sit in there to watch your eye BURN!!! I felt like I was swimming for hours sitting there for not even 5 minutes. Stayed there for 3 nights and they never came in to clean or replenish bath towels. I would never ever stay there again or recommend it either. Their sign out front says we love our guest. Truly that is a complete lie and far from the truth. They are unprofessional and awful towards...

“I loved the price for the week. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is only a short walk to the beach. We road our bikes downtown traverse city and it was only 30 minutes. Located 30 to 45 mins to sandunes and torchlake. Overall great experience. Great fishing spots in walking distance.”
