“We had a lovely 6 day stay at the lakeside Tortola lodge. I booked through Orion Holidays who were very inforfative before the stay and available whilst there. The house accommodated our family of 6 adults, 2 under 5's & dog very well without feeling over crowded. The house was all in good condition, very clean and well equipped with every thing needed for a self catering family holiday. There are facilities near by to eat out however we travelled out each day to explore the beautiful Cotswolds....

“We would highly recommend a stay at Moorhens Rest. The check in process was smooth and the house itself was fitted to a high standard with everything you could need. Situated by the lake, it provided a lovely view to wake up to and we enjoyed walks around the lake every evening. There is plenty to do for all of the family with access to a range of facilities on site including a games room and tennis courts. We very much look forward to staying again in the future.”

“A good overnight stop on our journey to the south coast! Very friendly staff in the bar welcomed us, and were extremely helpful. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms. A good choice of decent meals on the bar menu available in the pub, so convenient not having to dine elsewhere. Excellent value, and both the evening and morning staff were great. Yes, a bit of road noise, and extractor noise heard in our 2 rooms, but we are used to silent nights living in a rural location!”
