“We had a lovely 6 day stay at the lakeside Tortola lodge. I booked through Orion Holidays who were very inforfative before the stay and available whilst there. The house accommodated our family of 6 adults, 2 under 5's & dog very well without feeling over crowded. The house was all in good condition, very clean and well equipped with every thing needed for a self catering family holiday. There are facilities near by to eat out however we travelled out each day to explore the beautiful Cotswolds....

“We would highly recommend a stay at Moorhens Rest. The check in process was smooth and the house itself was fitted to a high standard with everything you could need. Situated by the lake, it provided a lovely view to wake up to and we enjoyed walks around the lake every evening. There is plenty to do for all of the family with access to a range of facilities on site including a games room and tennis courts. We very much look forward to staying again in the future.”

“We had the most amazing time in this property. The location is stunning and overlooking the lake. The house itself was beautiful, well equipped, with large rooms and bathrooms. It was also kitted out with cute extra touches like beautiful throws and a christmas tree. It was spacious overall, and honestly one of the best places we've stayed at - definitely will plan another trip! The team were also so lovely, easy to contact, and let us have a baby shower at the property which ended up being...
