“This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.”

“Reception not manned on arrival, did not realise that door card and check in card was left on table for self service. Basic hotel with English Breakfast /Toast/Yoghurt included in the price. Large car park. Ideal location to attend a party in Mansfield. Not planned to use the restaurant but believe it was closed during our stay. Bar also looked closed but think we were told it was available if required. I would stay again if I needed to stay overnight in the area.”

“Great location. Ideal location for Southwell racecourse. 15 minute leisurely stroll to the racecourse from the accommodation. Our overnight stay was great from start to finish - easy check in, free car parking, clean tidy and comfortable room. Bathroom, including shower, was clean and modern. The sink was on the small side. Good value for money.”

“The shower control was basically the easiest to use but it might be beneficial to have a notice above it stating: "Water pressure is constant so the knob is to just alter the temperature"”

“Very close to the Lincoln Cathedral. It is a hike up the hill but lots to see along the way. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Good food and very good service.”

“The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)”

“Great value for the price and the quality of surface you get. Cannot complain. The hall way at night does looks a bit like a haunted movie due to the way the motion sensor for the light works and the bluish emergency exit lighting.”

“The breakfast was the only redeeming thing about our stay. Rooms were old a musty smelling, the carpets were so old and stained and wrinkled in places. The bottled water in the rooms were reused bottles that they top up. ”

“The greatest feature of this establishment are the hosts, Pablo and John. Apart from a great location, ten minutes walk from the town centre, the house is impeccable. The garden is a delight, and nothing, absolutely nothing, is too much trouble for the hosts, to ensure that you leave very reluctantly……”

“We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....
