âPictures on website look much brighter than actual thing. Dust in corners and baseboards. No rugs where shown in pictures except under small table. Basement where laundry is located is disgusting. I was actually afraid to walk down the steps at first. It looks like they throw any extra boxes etc down there and there was dirt and spiderwebs all over. Old shower curtain in bathroom closet. âThis property presents well in photos. However, itâs on the outskirts of German Town and the area doesnât give off a safe vibe. It was beyond dirty. Mild in the tub, with a dirty liner as a curtain. The kitchen smelled of mildew and was worse in the morning. There was a roach crawling on the kitchen floor in the morning as well. The bedding was stained. I slept in my clothes on the edge of the bed. The host was VERY responsive and provided a credit for the unused night of the reservation. â
