Everything is new, cozy, and comfortable at this beautifully remodeled cabin in South Fork, a three-bedroom escape that is sure to make your next Colorado getaway a memorable one. With a central location close to Wolf Creek Ski Area (19 miles southwest) and Creede (20 miles northwest) and next to a walking path that leads to grocery stores and shops in town, a stay at this home will bring ease and simplicity to your vacation. The main floor is 660 square feet, offering gorgeous wood beams and accents of natural stone. Come home from your daily adventures and toss your clothes in the washer/dryer, curl up by the floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace, and scroll through the offerings on the Smart TV. Or, use the full kitchen to whip up a homemade dinner, bring your plates outside to the picnic table, and catch an incredible sunset by the firepit with a backdrop of the mountains. At night, you'll have your choice of three bedrooms - two with a queen-size bed apiece and a loft room upstairs with two twin beds.

This is a very nice well built solid log cabin with very easy access & yet Private feel with wild life present. South Fork is a quite small town with some good food options & 20 min. from Wolf Creek excellent powder.

The cabin was great. Everything was clean. Two singles beds up in the loft. Kids love the loft. This cabin is nice n cozy but provides everything you need. Shower, bathtub combo, laundry room. Off the highway but not an issue to be concerned about. Two queens in separate rooms downstairs. Perfect for myself and two children.

Nice Little Cabin

Cozy little home. Located right next to the Hwy but didn’t notice the traffic noise in the home. Lots of area to park. Contact with management company concerning arrival access and departure was very good. Home was tidy but there was some animal hair throughout.

Wedding Guest Retreat

My husband and I enjoyed this cabin, the beauty of fall in Colorado and the peace and serenity we experienced on this trip. Things couldn’t have been nicer and we were extremely happy. We came to South Fork for our granddaughter’s wedding and fell in love with Colorado, LOL!

Property manager Diane did an excellent job helping us when we had any issues. Cabin is clean and quaint and has all the amenities we needed. Would recommend again!

Cute Cabin

Perfect little getaway cabin close to South Fork and within 30 minutes of Wolf Creek Ski Area. Lots of space for our dog to explore, including direct access to a trail. Our only issue was that there were two coffee makers but no pot for either. We made it work, but a carafe would have been ideal. Will stay here again.

Great family place

The cabin was great for our little family of 4. It was clean, had everything we needed and was in a relatively quiet location. You get some noise from the road going to Creede but it wasnt bad. The only suggestion I would make to the owner would be to put a non slip mat in the tub. My 3 year old slipped and hit her face on the tub but other then that it was a great stay.

The cabin was nicely decorated. Nice gas fireplace and comfortable beds. We did have some issues - washing machine was tagged that it didn't work, microwave handle was broken, and they didn't leave enough toilet paper. They accept pets but FYI no enclosed yard. Cute courtyard out front with a fire pit but it was too windy for us when we were there. Convenient location.

Wolf Creek Ski GetAway

We were very pleased with the cabin for our ski vacation. It was perfect for the 3 of us and two more beds if others had been able to join. The loft ladder; however, is only for a young, agile body! The accommodations were very nice, plenty of towels, hot water, good WiFi and the beds were comfortable. Bonus was the person who came and snowplowed the driveway after the big snowfall. My only suggestion would be to invest in some sort of keyless entry system instead of having to keep up with keys and a lockbox. I would recommend this property to others and will happily stay here again on future trips.

Very small cabin, but cute

The cabin was cute,but was extremely small for 3 adults and one 4lb dog. The living area is so tight with very uncomfortable furniture. The bedrooms are tiny with a queen bed that you can barely walk around. The beds were comfortable. Renters need to have some place to unpack and hang up their clothes. A dresser wouldn’t fit so maybe some shelves. No one wants to live out of a suitcase. The stairs/ladder to the loft is dangerous. Hope they have great insurance when someone gets hurt. Another thing that annoyed me was the small black trash bin outside. Trash pickup is only on Monday and you are not allowed to put raw or cooked meat in that trash bin. Also fish guts are not allowed in bin. To dispose of this kind of trash, you have to take it to the Rainbow Grocery and pay $1 for a bathroom size, $2 for a kitchen size and $5 for a large size. I have never had to do this at any other rental. As for any children or dogs to play outside, I wouldn’t feel safe since it is only steps to highway 149. The front yard is mostly rocks with a tiny piece of grass and the back yard is scrub brush that hasn’t been maintained. The housekeeper did a decent job of cleaning, but she never dusted the area under the kitchen sink lights or dusted the blades on the ceiling.

South Fork Retreat

This cabin has been well designed to be perfect for a couple or a family with two kids. It was wonderful that they allow pets and there is an open area for them to walk on a leash. It is a convenient spot for exploring the area.

Beautiful place to stay

We had an amazing time at this property during our trip to South Fork. Our kids slept in the loft and loved it. The weather was absolutely perfect the whole time we were there. I was thankful for the washer and dryer that was in the cabin because we came home without laundry to do! The location was great. Our kids enjoyed being outside in front of the house. We would recommend this cabin for future vacations!

Cabin was nice and clean, we had a great time in South Fork and surronding areas. the only things that we didnt like was traffic noise and the beds were actually pretty uncomfortable, but we dealt with that
