Basic cottage experience

Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. Fast response when communicating. Will ask you to sign a discharge right at the beginning which is not a good sign. Can’t get refund. Not as nice as shown in pictures. Still manage to enjoy our stay but not worth the requested price we paid, although our cottage seemed better than other ones there. At least we manage to stay in whereas our neighbor had a nightmare experience with theirs. You must not be scared or mind big dogs because the neighbor on the left, in a trailer installed for the entire season, had 3 big loose dogs that comes on the cottage property at all time. They don’t clean the dog’s poop either, we had to clean ourselves. I’ve had way better cottage experience elsewhere.

Les lieux sont fidèles à l’annonce. Notre hôte répondait rapidement. Le chalet n’est toutefois pas a la hauteur des standards de marché en termes d’inclusions: il n’y a pas de draps, juste le couvre-matelas et des couettes qui ont vu de meilleurs jours, à peu près rien dans la cuisine en terme de fournitures de base que l’on trouve habituellement dans les chalets. Pas de savon de douche ou de débarbouillettes. L’Internet est très lent et il n’y a aucune instruction sur l’authentification. Le paysage extérieur est toutefois très beau et l’accès au lac est facile. Je dirais qu’il faut voir les lieux un peu comme un camp de chasse, ça gère les attentes.
