“We had such a lovely time at this place. It’s right on the water with a beautiful back deck and fire pit that overlook the ocean. The house itself was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed. My only qualm is that we had stayed here because it was close to Bar Harbor - the listing said it was a 50min drive but was more like an hour 10min and there wasn’t much else to do in Milbridge. “It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.”

“My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

“Elsa's Inn is a lovey spot for quiet scenic stays - the bed and pillows were lush and the rooms are furnished with beautiful antiques. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assit me with a small issue. I will return whenever I am in the area. ”
