“It was pretty quiet, not to many people staying but that was fine. I didn’t visit the pool area so I can’t speak for it but it was open and looked ok. My only complaint is the breakfast. There weren’t that many options. Most things were carbs (bread/bagels/cereal/pancakes). Juice options were great. But no eggs or meat. The bed was comfortable and the tv and amenities in the room all worked. Over all 3-4 stars. There was only one person on staff that I saw my entire stay. ”

We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here. “A great place to visit for a family in the summer. It’s right on the lake, they have paddelboards, canoes, kayaks, fishinggear free to use. There is a nice lawn with lots of garden games, sunbeds, barbecues, firepits and more. Our room was a bit small for three people and the table only had two chairs. But it worked fine for one nigit. The room was freezing cold when We got there but it warmed up quickly as we turned the heater on, but the bathroom never got warm. ”

“You want to feel like you’re at home? This is the place. Inn keeper knew who I was when I walked in the door and that was customer service approach thru our stay. We went to Stone mountain arts center for concert, had apps in bar prior.. we were welcomed back to the inn and questioned with how was the concert as we closed out our night back at bar.
