Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.”
“The owner offered to order me dinner on the two nights that we were there. We’re both light eaters so she brought one serving one night of a chicken schnitzel.. we shared and a lamb-shank the second night. Both were delicious and filling. It was handy and much appreciated.”
