Experience the best of Lake Tahoe at this second-story, family-friendly studio with a pool view! Enjoy all the conveniences of a well-appointed home-away-from-home where you can start your day off on the right foot with a cup of fresh-brewed coffee out on your private balcony. Prepare quick meals or snacks-on-the-go in the well-equipped kitchenette, or stream your favorite channels on the smart, flatscreen TV. There is also a gas fireplace to make your stay even more pleasant, especially during the winter months. Guests are also granted access to a variety of shared amenities such as a firepit, grills, sauna, fitness room, seasonal pool, and hot tub as well as a nearby stretch of private beach.

Things to Know
Free high-speed WiFi, however like most mountain towns, internet access speed is dependent on the size of the local population.
Streaming channels require guests' own accounts.
Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m to 9 a.m. hours. In addition no open flames, no smoking, and parking permits apply. Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 1.

Security camera details: There are surveillance cameras throughout Lakeland Village property in the common areas only. There are never cameras inside the home.

Ski shuttle details: Check for availability with the Ski Resorts. Lakeland Village does not provide transportation.

Dock details: There is a beautiful, large pier with a bench for viewing the Lake. No boat docking, no diving or jumping off the dock, and no fishing.




Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Worth it

Location and property was perfect for our weekend at south Tahoe. Minutes away from heavenly and nice 1 hour scenic route to North Star. Room smelled a little weird, but overall a nice place to stay for a weekend snowboarding trip

The unit is not accurately marketed w on line pictures

The pictures from the web site list the unit overlooking the pool with pine trees lining the property. The background behind the trees is whitened out and very misleading. The unit is right on the highway, which is not pictured, or disclosed. there is no way you can sleep with the door open, or even have coffee on the deck. The noise is so loud, and across the guest is a motel sign starring down at you.

Great location, but fell short on cleanliness & it lacked basics-towels & proper utensils

The sheets on the Murphy bed were dirty and my son found a piece of glass poking his leg from the blanket. I reported it to Vacasa with a photo without any response from them ever. There were only 4 towels for the 4 of us for 5 days. We asked for more towels and were told to put in a work order…again no response. To have clean towels on our last days we had to take the dirty ones to laundry on site and pay to wash them ourselves which was incredibly inconvenient (putting them to wash and waiting around for them to be done to switch to dryer and waiting for them to dry to take back to our room). Additionally, the description reads “well-equipped kitchen”, however, the only cooking utensil was a slotted spoon. We had to make a run to Safeway to buy a spatula so we cook some basics. The location is great and Lakeland is a nice property. The room is small but “ok.”

Excellent accommodation

My family of 3 stayed at this place for Thanksgiving holidays. The room was clean, had all the amenities as advertised. The location is great as well (a bit of noise from the adjacent road was okay). Recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Tahoe!
