Inside, warm wood-paneled ceilings and rustic accents set the stage for cozy evenings together. Curl up on the sofa with a glass of wine as the wood-burning fireplace crackles, or enjoy a classic movie from the cabin’s collection.



In the morning, sip coffee on the private deck as the sun filters through the trees, or fire up the gas grill for a dinner under the stars. With no WiFi, you’ll have the rare chance to truly unplug and focus on each other.



The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals easy, whether it’s a hearty breakfast before a day on the trails or a romantic dinner for two.



Spend your days walking hand-in-hand along lakeside trails, renting a boat for a serene afternoon on the water, or exploring nearby Lake Tahoe with kayaking, beachside picnics, and sunset strolls. Things to Know

Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may see these animals in or near your home.

With the remote location of this property, there is no internet or cable. There is a cell phone booster in the cabin so that people can still get service, but it is spotty. This is a property for people who want to disconnect from the outside world. Be sure to print out your home guide before arriving.



THINGS TO KNOW



Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.



This home is not equipped with WiFi



This home is not equipped with air conditioning.



Parking is limited to 2 vehicles in the driveway only.

Street parking is not permitted and may result in fines or towing.

Please make sure cars are parked fully within the driveway and not blocking sidewalks or neighboring properties.

Oversized vehicles, trailers, RVs, and boats are not allowed.



Garbage and recycling should be stored in the big metal bear box next to the driveway. There is a latch on the front of the bear box. You will lift the latch with your hand when opening and closing the bear box. Our bears are pretty smart. DO NOT LEAVE THE BEAR BOX UNLATCHED. This will ensure that the local wildlife cannot get to your trash.



NOTE: The city of South Lake Tahoe takes the safety of their wildlife and the beauty of their city very seriously. So please never leave garbage outside overnight as the wildlife will find it, and guests will be responsible for any clean up or fines that may occur.

Enjoy exclusive access to the entire Cherry Leaf Lodge & Retreat, a private cabin retreat nestled near Fallen Leaf Lake. You'll have the run of the place, including the cozy bedroom with a queen bed and additional doubles, the open living area with twin beds, the fully equipped kitchen, and the inviting deck. Relax by the wood-burning fireplace in the evenings and fire up the gas grill for outdoor dining. Take advantage of the cabin's proximity to the lake, with access to nearby trails, beaches and the serene waters of Fallen Leaf Lake. Please note that the property is designed to provide a tranquil escape, so there is no WiFi.

Getting Around:

Getting Around: While the Cherry Leaf Lodge & Retreat offers a secluded escape, it's also conveniently located for exploring the area. Parking is available on-site with free parking. For those arriving by air, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is approximately a 1.5-hour drive away. From the lodge, you can easily access nearby attractions and amenities by car. Public transportation options are limited in this area, so having a vehicle is recommended to fully enjoy your stay and explore the beauty of Fallen Leaf Lake and South Lake Tahoe.

Pets are welcome at this property for an additional pet fee of $150 per stay. Please add your pet during the booking process or contact us prior to arrival so the fee can be applied.
