“Been in Maldives several times in different 5-star resorts - but first time in Velassaru. Nice beautiful island and good food in the restaurants. Good cleaning and our beach deluxe villa with pool was excellent. Some beach villa locations are good with a nice view and some others have less attractive view, i.e. facing Male. The surrounding waters are pristine and we saw multiple sea turtles while snorkeling around our villa which was definitely the highlight of our trip.
