Great beach front rental!!!!
Stayed here on work trip just because. Property is very nice and the location is fantastic. You can easily walk over to other resorts along the beach for a bite. Beach chairs and toys included outside. Enjoyed so much, would love to come back again with my family next time. Host are very kind and communicate well about how to get in / out rules of hoa etcetera.

Wonderful Stay

Awesome condo on the beach!
The condo is in a great location right on the beach but away from the busiest part of town. Ed is a great host, I cannot say enough good things about him. This is the way renting a vacation condo should be!

I can't say enough good things about this rental
This place is exactly like the pictures and description. My friend and I stayed here so that we could be close to the KOA park where our Canadian friends are staying for the winter. We were amazed at all the nice small touches--nice towels, beach towels, night light, kitchen so well stocked with everything you need (nice kitchen cookware and supplies --even had a pastry brush which I needed.) The condo was so clean. We loved sitting outside and seeing the ocean. It was nice to walk out the back door and walk a few steps to the boardwalk to get to the beach. All the maintenance people were very friendly too. Ed is very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect
This condo is super clean and comfortable, and is easily the best-equipped rental I’ve ever had. Literally everything you might need was there..even right down to a fly swatter! The best thing is the personal unit access to the beach..just walk out your front door and you’re there. Looking forward to many more stays!

Great choice.
Very nice property, steps from beach. bottom floor has limited beach view as the grassy burm was mounded high. Master bath was dated. Kitchen was dated. Well furnished kitchen. Everything was clean and functional. We would recomend this property. No fans in condo, ac kept it cool.

One of the best beachfront condos we've had!
Whether it's a weekend stay or a week-long stay, my husband and I have enjoyed beachfront condos around the world. This one was one of the best. Being on ground level and being able to walk right out to the pool and beach was a plus. The porch amenities, chairs, wagon, umbrellas, etc were appreciated. It's a beautiful, long, sandy beach that is one of the best that we've been to. You can even see the Space X buildings and launch site after a short beach walk. Everything was as described including a pantry with numerous supplies. The king size bed was comfortable and has tables beside the bed with electrical outlets and USB ports. Through the whole booking and arrival process, Ed was always available. It was great to have personal communication that was friendly and helpful. We would love to come back again....especially for a Space X launch!

Beach Vacation
This was our second stay at the Sea Vista and it did not disappoint. The closeness to the beach is fantastic...it really is steps away. The condo is comfortable and well stocked. Even though the sun played peak and boo with us during our stay there are so many things to do on the island that we were not bored. This condo is located away from the main hustle and bustle, but it is just a short drive to anywhere on the island. We really enjoyed the quiet family atmosphere that we find at the Sea Vista. Still missing drinking my coffee with the sound of the waves and beautiful sunrises in my view. Am already planning my trip back.

Great Time Had By All
This was our yearly Sister's Trip (4 of us) this year. Great choice! Let's just say we'd definitely stay here again! Loved the floor to ceiling windows! Excellently stocked kitchen! Great access to the beach! Would be nice to do recycling if the complex has it available.

Family September Vacation was Awesome!

Sea Vista Review

Family Attending a Wedding in PI
We are from San Antonio. Our cousins are from Houston. We stayed here together to attend another cousin's wedding in PI. The condo was perfect for us. We were able to enjoy the beach, local restaurants and bars before and after the wedding. Nice view. Clean. Great communication with hosts.

Wonderful Vacation
The condo was exactly as advertised. It was clean, comfortable, and a great location. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, loved having the wagon and chairs for the beach. My 6-year-old loved every minute of the beach and the warm pool. Ed recommended some great restaurants and we found getting around the island super easy. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation, and that is what we got. We would definitely come back!

Quiet spring break condo
We had never visited SPI and were a little nervous about it being crazy for spring break. This condo was perfect for a quiet family trip. We loved being able to walk out to the beach and had an amazing time. Perfect location!

The views are amazing. The beach is beautiful. We loved the location and the suggested restaurants. The condo supplied everything we needed. I could have packed a lot lighter! The management was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. I would love to return again some day.

Great condo!
This place was great. The access to the beach was probably the best we’ve had. The condo building is at the very end of the buildings on the island so it was just a wide open beach. The condo had every amenity you could think of. They supplied plenty of detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, etc for the whole week, which rarely happens. We would definitely stay here again.

Waking with the wake
Ours was exactly the experience we aspire to each time we use VRBO. The property provided easy access to the beach and the supplies to make those trips convenient (a beach wagon, folding chairs, sand and water toys, etc.). The condo was comfortable and just as it appears in the photos. The location was near where the bridge lands on SPI, close to all the action. The host was just the right amount of involved to allow us to feel attended to, but not overwhelmed. We'd stay here again, assuming we're welcome:)

Beautiful view
Even better in person than what the pictures show! The kitchen had every thing we needed, the patio view was amazing- by 1 pm it’s completely shaded the rest of the day. Beach out the back&pool out in front which made it a great spot with us having young kids. Absolutely no hassle from the owners when we messaged them about having a Type 1 Diabetic service Dog. We all can’t wait to come back!

This is our 3rd time staying in this condo at SPI. We love the property and the convenience of this condo. You are just steps from the beach out the back door. Condo is well stocked. We cooked frequently and had everything we needed. Also very easy to get to once you cross the bridge. Can’t wait for the next trip!

Nice beachfront property
Great beach access. Comfortable and stocked with much more food staples and beach supplies than normal. Only small downside is first floor accommodation means you either have to be used to people walking by and looking in or keep shades drawn.

Overall very nice
It was an overall nice beach property. The beach toys were nice and the home was far better stocked with supplies than any other rental we have had. There were some minor mechanical issues (toilet runs, loose towel bars), but location to the beach, a washer/drier, and being on the first floor with patio access to the beach made all the difference!

Virginia, Thanks for the nice review. For the next time you stay with us please let us know if you run into any issues...our housekeeper Virginia noticed the loose towel bars after you departure when she cleaned the unit and we got our repair guy in there to fix so all is well now. regards, ed

Best week ever!
The entire Sea Vista property is clean and well managed. The security team is a bonus. We had the best spot to be able to cart our gear down to the beach. We saw the sunrise every morning. Enjoyed the patio every evening. We are absolutely impressed with the property and loved being ON the beach. No packing up and driving every day. There is more of a family vibe here instead of the crowded party areas, which we loved. We beached all day, crabbed/ fished at night. We were even able to get a mobi-chair, a wheelchair for the beach, from the fire dept, to be able to get grandpa to and from the beach every day. Which was a God-send. We are so grateful we were able to stay here. We plan on coming back and bringing more friends from Dallas! Thank you Ed & family for accommodating.

Great location
The South Padre beach is amazing! Condo was perfect for my family of four. Close to the beach and had everything we needed. There were even beach chairs, toys, boogie boards and beach towels. There was even a canopy but it was broken so we used our own. The condo was clean and had plenty of room for all of us. We appreciated the wifi and cable when getting out of the heat. Loved watching the sunrise and set through the huge windows. Cons: the check out time was 10am due to housekeeping which seems unreasonable for the amount of cleaning that was required of us before leaving. The master toilet had to be plunged a couple of times. Overall it was a good stay and we enjoyed our time on the island. Wear sandals in the sand as it gets very hot!

Not what was expected
This is a cute condo but…. One bedroom is located next to the lobby and elevator. There was no sleeping in as other guests were very loud, it sounded like they were right there in the bedroom with you. The second bedroom looks out at the beach which sounds wonderful but in the morning the sun also makes for zero sleeping in. The check in process was great with the exception of limited parking. The condo is right on the beach which is a huge plus but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Tracy, Thanks for posting a review...we were quite surprised that you only rated our condo as 3 stars. We have 107 posted reviews and an average rating of 4.9 (almost all of them 5-Star ratings). Our Homeowners Association has a rule of only 2 cars per condo rental. That is to make sure that only people renting a condo are parking in the condo complex parking lot and people are not inviting their friends from outside to stay and use the facilities and beach access. That Association rule is for the benefit of our guests. You only rented 1 night and the condo occupancy is 6 so two parking spaces should have been more than adequate for you. As far as waking up to view a sunrise every morning that would be something that most people would treasure. The old adage that you can't please all people all of the time comes to mind here...we are proud though that we are able to please 99% of the people and will continue to strive to continue to provide our guests a wonderful vacation experience.

Everything I Expected and MORE!!
My nephew and I had a GREAT stay at this property! Only problem was that our stay was too short. :) We loved, loved, LOVED the floor-to-ceiling glass front that gave us AWESOME ocean views. Just a short, easy walk to the beach, and owner provided beach chairs as well as a wagon to easily transport all beach gear to that perfect spot on the beach. Condo itself was very clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the list of suggested restaurants, activities, etc. that the host sent ahead of time. We definitely made use of that! Thanks, Ed & family! I hope to book with you again in the future!!
