“This was a last minute booking as the hotel we were supposed to stay in had been booked for 2026 by mistake (by me!). The room was really cosy, and we were made to feel really welcome in the bar. The continental breakfast was lovely, and hot food was available to purchase if we wanted it. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“This was a lovely place to stay and also hang out at. All the people working there are friendly and make you feel so welcome! The room was perfect: clean and nice. Breakfast was splendid and we had dinner there a couple of times too. Very allergy/ dietary friendly! Unfortunately we missed out on all the fun events they plan throughout the year, but we will definitely return and make sure we time it with the Tiki evening or Dragaholic fest :)”

“Convenient location in the middle of town but no parking facility..Public car parking 100 metres away. Bedroom noisy up to 23.00 due to karaoke in bar downstairs. Very friendly and attentive staff and food choice and quality was excellent - best barbecued ribs I have had in a long time. Well kept Real Ale.”

“Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. ”
