To combat these pesky creatures we do have a weekly natural spray program that starts in July and ends in September. We also have a screened in gazebo and screened in porch so our guests can enjoy our beautiful surroundings and sunsets. We do try our very best to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay. Hello Isabelle, So glad you and your family enjoyed your stay, except for the mosquitos! We have heard that there are more mosquitos that normal due to the wet Spring and summer humidity this year on PEI. For these reasons we decided to have our lawn mowing guy start spraying a mosquito spray but unfortunately that didn't help you. He just got everything up and running. We feel this will help this situation in the future. We know it can be an issue so we have the screened in gazebo and the screened porch to allow guests to enjoy their time the bugs when they are at their worst. Thanks, Angela and Steve

It's very unfortunate that the mosquitos were bad when you were staying at Bellmora. Depending on the weather, they can a nuisance on PEI. It has been rainy on PEI this summer so unfortunately there were more mosquitos than usual. We do supply a natural bug spray and we do recommend to all our guests to use it. Hello Ben, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are sorry to hear the mosquitos were particularly bad for you. PEI had a very rainy July which is perfect weather for mosquitoes. It's impossible to control Mother Nature but we do try with our Green Strike mosquito preventer, natural garlic barrier spray that does seem to work and our two screen-in sitting areas so you can enjoy being outdoors without the pesky bugs.
