I did not authorize this transaction I did not stay or make arrangements to stay nor give anyone permission on my account to make any such transaction.
I have reported fraud with my bank and with the educational institution I attend college with who posted the funds which were wrongfully spent on a room no one spent any time in.
Upon requesting the stop payment I was told you guys could have made a mistake and likely the money would be placed back into my account when it was released from pending status.
Therefore no stop payment could have happened and could not be set into place and upon contacting Expedia was informed that I could not get my money back to the first night because it was the day before the reservation. The odd thing is it was set up to pay on site and yet the funds were taken from my card.
Something I was told by support would not take place.
This is wrong and it's stealing and this money was stolen from me and spent for nothing and on no one.
