Lovely property right beside the sea front. The host was very helpful and messaged quickly with answers to questions. Margaret St Hope is a delightful centre to base your holiday.. good shop and post office with two excellent restaurants.

This very bright and comfortable property is in a wonderful location looking directly on to the bay at St Margaret’s Hope. The facilities are everything one needs for cooking, broadband, tv and streaming. While a car is useful, there is a bus stop just a few steps from the front door. The bus runs regularly to Kirkwall, Stromness and Scara Brae. There are two well stocked shops in the village and two excellent restaurants.

This property was wonderful.It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great location, just a minute from the ferry landing.About twenty minutes from Kirkwall, Tesco and lots of shops.Even got to watch a seal swim around outside the living room window.

We had the most incredible stay in this beautiful accommodation - everything had been thought of and it was so clean too. The views from the window over the cove were fabulous. We loved every minute.

Very nice cozy cottage with a gorgeous view. We had some beautiful weather for the time of year. Couple of great pubs and a couple of shops. 5 minutes from ferry port. You cannot go wrong exploring the islands from here.

Simply the Best

Great property, great location. This was by far the best of the three properties we stayed in on this 3 week trip in Orkney and the north West of Scotland. Would definitely stay here again but would give the other two a miss.

Terrific cottage with a wonderful view and fully equipped!! Bus stop is only steps from the front door making daily outings very easy to plan. I thoroughly recommend this location.

Stunning, peaceful

Brilliantly situated with stunning views. Really well equipped with kitchen equipment & local guides etc. Clean & cosy. Recommend The Murrey Arms Hotel restaurant for end of holiday meal - a real treat.
