“Recently refurbished, the property was originally built back in 1928 and, whilst modest, has character. It is idreally situated on the edge of town, with extensive views over the golf course. The bedrooms are small but more than adequate, with comfortable beds and upgraded ensuites with good showers. There is a comfortable lounge area and bar and an attractive dining room, used for breakfast (included in the room rate) and for dinner at Ethos, the acclaimed resturant, one of Bowral's finest....
“The address is 8-10 but there is no 8. The instructions about a button to press to get in are out of date. The reality is that the gates are open all the time and the studio is on the right. A kindly chap was putting out the bins when we arrived and he directed us. Otherwise we would have had difficulty, especially at night. It is a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of sniffing for dogs to enjoy. Bring a torch. Very dark at night. Your dog must be on lead at all times while outside.”

“The Loft area worked very well for us. Two travellers and a dog. The space was very clean, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom had a great shower with lots of hot water and my granddaughter enjoyed the seperate bath each of our 4 nights. It rained our entire time and I have to sincerely thank our host, Lyndall, who put fresh large towels across our entrance each day knowing that 2 people with wet shoes and a dog with 4 wet paws needed to get in and dry off.
