âStayed in the cottage, some very nice touches in arrival, food was very good and breakfast had plenty of choice, if you are looking for a hotel in Moffat I would recommend you give this a try.

âGood price for the night, clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff. The only problem was there was no one on reception at 7.40pm. A note was left on the desk, asking customers to ring a mobile number. But as a person who had just arrived from abroad and didnt have a UK mobile phone couldnât ring the number. Luckily another customer who was also waiting and had a UK mobile phone, rang the number for me. â
âI was warmly welcomed to this B&B. It is a beautiful house set in extensive grounds. From my window I had lovely views of the garden and beyond. The room was beautifully decorated and the bedding was soft and comfortable. With the warmth of the welcome and the excellent breakfast I would agree this is an excellent 4* and worthy of its great reviews.â
