“There’s a slightly old-fashioned feeling to this hotel, though this is mainly a good thing. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful; the food is excellent and the swimming pool superb. A decent tennis court too. Rooms are clean and pleasant, but could do with a little updating: air- conditioning was a bit of a mystery and there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms. New bed covers would easily improve the look of the rooms, though the beds themselves were good.

“We just stayed for 2 nights but the staff made us feel so welcome. The view was great in spite of the railway line between us and the sea. We cannot fault the dinner and breakfast food and the staff were so accommodating to our children.
I was disappointed that the room had disposable wooden stirrers for drinks rather than teaspoons and that we had to have plastic cups for drinks by the pool although i do understand the safety aspect ( maybe reusable plastic cups could be used?). I did also...

“The hotel is new, modern, elegant, very clean and in a great location, just off the crowded main square. My room was spacious and very comfortable and clean - just not a single drawer to store underwear, shirts etc. Since the check-in happens with the punching of a code and there is no reception, I had to carry my large suitcase up some very steep and narrow stairs to the second floor. The manager was very kind to carry it downstairs for me the morning of my departure.
