Inside Stone Home-

Vårt stora rum, har en dramatisk öppen spis som berör toppen av 20-fots välvda tak.

Dinnertime är en bris i vårt ombyggda kök, det finns gott om arbetsrum för flera kockar att arbeta tillsammans, med ett fullt utrustat kök. Granit bänkskivor, nya rostfria vitvaror och centrala ön gör matlagning trevlig.

Det finns gott om matplats för hela din grupp, inklusive ett matbord på 8 personer, en frukostkrog för 6 i köket och 2 mer barstolar på köksön. För att inte tala om en mängd utomhus sitta och matsalar, inklusive uteservering på övervåningen och en flodhäststol, för att bara nämna två.

Befälhavaren sviten har en affisch, Ralph Lauren king size-säng, 40 "platt-skärm och skjutdörrar dörr öppning till en privat uteplats. Det bifogade badrummet har ett 2-persilbadkar, en dubbel handfat och en stor duschkabin.

Två gästrum har queen size-sängar i varje. Ett tredje sovrum har en queen size-säng plus två enkelsängar (perfekt för familjer med unga barn).

Casita, (garage lägenhet) har 2 queen size och 1 full size säng i samma rum, samt ett badrum.

Gå till floden vid trappan (130 trappor ... men de är värda det!). Hyr en av våra kajaker eller SUP ut på Pedernales lugna vatten eller simma eller fiska. På en kall kväll, tända en eld i flodkanten och titta på stjärnorna blinka på vattnet.

Vårt läge är Spicewood, Texas (födelseplats för Willie Nelson!) , med 3 närliggande vingårdar, ett bryggeri och 2 destillerier, Apis en av Austins 10 bästa restauranger, Zip line på Cypress Valley Canopy Tours, Krause Springs, Reimers Ranch bevara, golf, hyra en båt på Briarcliff Marina och utforska vackra Lake Travis. Amazing!

Long weekend getaway with our family and this property was amazing. Absolutely stunning and better than we expected. The house had everything we needed and the outdoor areas were absolutely amazing. We did a little hiking down by the Pedernales, watched the stunning sunrise from the back porch, fed the chickens and collected the eggs. It was an unforgettable weekend and Wendy was so great. Thank you for sharing your little piece of Heaven with us!

Weekend Getaway

Stone Home Ranch was the perfect weekend getaway. Our family made many great memories at this beautiful hill country home. The home has plenty of room for everyone and lots of space to hang out alone or with family. The views are totally breathtaking and the beautiful landscaping around the home was amazing. The kitchen is well equipped and there was plenty of space to eat together inside or out. Wendy was very helpful and quickly responded to all questions making our stay the best. We loved this vacation property so much that we will definitely be back. Thanks Wendy for being an awesome host!!

Unique respite

After going through two lock gates we find a beautiful home tucked away from loads of people. The house was immaculate. It had a quaint trough for a pool which was large enough for six adults and four kids. Tight but fun for visiting and drinking. It was a little hike to the creek below and it was low. However. That did not stop us from kayaking and having fun. The evenings on the back porch was a perfect place to view the hills and the sunset. It was a winner in our book.

The property is amazing! The beauty and comfort it added to our very special event made our time even more spectacular! The photos our photographer got were stunning! The house is so Charming! Beautiful grounds nice furnishings, and lots of pretty art everywhere. Close to wineries, and great restaurants. THE VIEW is spectacular. We hope to go back next year.

The Views

Family of four (5 & 7) stayed for a couple days during spring break. The house is pretty darn awesome.. and that’s the “worst” part. What an awesome property. The views are amazing, the river (albeit low) was awesome for hiking, fishing, wadding and relaxing. We spent the vast majority of time outside and even the chickens provided the kids with some entertainment, including gathering eggs. Wendy was awesome, we’ll be back.

Delightful!

This property is a delightful place to stay! The pictures do not the views justice! The beds are comfortable, you can stargaze in the upstairs balcony. You can fish, hike, swim and play by the sand. Our family got to see an armadillo! Over all, the place fees like home and it’s equipped with all necessary items to cook and play. The host is caring and wonderful!

Fabulous Riverside Getaway

Wendy {host} is an absolute DOLL! She responds immediately to all questions/requests and is a happy, informative, helpful delight! Property is amazing, roomy and family oriented. If you're outdoorsy--the river is a huge attraction, and you can go for walks, light hiking along river. Grill out, watch the stars, paddleboard and play. We'll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful property with a ton of fun activities for families inside and outside. Beautiful river below with lots of places to explore. House was clean and comfortable, and very well apportioned. Host -- Wendy -- was super friendly and helpful with information and additional supplies (e.g., paper towels). 60th birthday celebration

We stayed with our 5 adults kids and spouses as well as grandkids (2.5 x 2 & 6 months). Everything about this rental was spectacular!! The house is clean, lovely and perfect for a family gathering. The kitchen is very well stocked. The kids loved going to gather eggs, played in the tree house and hiking down to the river. Sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous. We had Opie’s BBQ, Cosa Nostra Pizza and La Cabana Grill when we didn’t cook on property. I could go on and on about how great it was. Will definitely be back. Wendy our host was great!!

Serene

Just few miles away from the city but it felt like we were thousands of miles away in nature. This place is serene. We were group of fourteen friends looking for a break from city life and enjoy nature. This place was perfect. House is fully equipped with all amenities, very nicely decorated, clean. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Backyard is where fun begins. What a view. Woods, river and clear sky. Wendy is a very good host. We could reach her for any assistance. When refrigerator didn’t make ice, she delivered couple bags of ice to us. Main house can sleep ten people as described on app. Couple of single beds are not very comfortable but rest of beds were very nice. Garage apartment sleeps four, not as great as house but workable. It’s hard to find house that can accommodate fourteen people with four and half bath. Early mornings and Evenings in the backyard and trips to river were the most memorable.
