“It's a fabulous place in a beautiful setting. The food in their restaurant is great and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The only reason I gave less than five stars on property condition is because the rooms don't have temperature controls or even fans to move air. “The house is centrally located to numerous towns as well as the cliffs of Moher. Bedrooms are comfortable, most amenities provided, super clean, and the VIEW. Wow. Ann is absolutely the sweetest person and goes above and beyond to make sure things go easy. “Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison d’Una. Elle est idéalement située, aux portes du Connemara. La vue du jardin est magnifique et nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une très belle météo. La maison est proche des points les plus sympas du Connemara (Clifden, Kilemore…). Nous avons aussi adoré la quiétude de Rosmuck, de Lettermore (que nous adorons) , Carraroe ou Carna, Ballyconneely. La maison est bien chauffée et très confortable. Tout était parfait. Merci Una.”

Great location, not very soundproof rooms
"We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though."
