“The hotel itself is satisfactory and well-maintained. Our room featured an exceptionally firm mattress, although it is uncertain whether this is a standard feature of all rooms. This preference is subjective, however. The staff’s demeanor appeared unfriendly, and there are posted signs instructing guests to maintain silence during specific hours, which I found rather unsettling. “They checked us into a room that had not been cleaned. And we went downstairs to ask for a new room but had to WAIT behind another couple who HAD ALSO been checked into a dirty room. The floors of the entire hotel were filthy and it was hot in the lobby and in our new room. We decided to drive back to our town after our event was over and just left rather than stay the night and get bed bugs or venereal disease from the bathrooms.
