“We were offered a king bed (I had booked two queen beds) so I said sure, but that room had not been cleaned! There was different colored hair in the tub, in and around the sink, and in the sheets! There was a tissue in the trash can and the top comforter had stains; all signs that it had not been cleaned, they just made the bed. I immediately requested another room. It was a single queen. I wish I would’ve been given what I originally reserved- and cleaned!! ”

“We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...
