“Cleaning crew barged into the room at 8:15 am without knocking while I was in the bathroom and my wife in bed. After I stopped them they never came back. When we returned to the hotel at 3 pm and found the room unserviced we called the front desk only to be told that the crew had already “left for the day.” To their credit when we returned that night the room was cleaned. But the experience was to say the least not consistent with expectations. ”

“The room is clean, but the exterior is under construction”

“On my visit third week of April is was 80+ degrees outside. I checked in shortly after 9pm and went to my assigned room - it was overly warm so I immediately checked the thermostat to make sure it was working. It was set at 68 degrees, but the room was 77 degrees. I grabbed my things and went back to the front desk to report that the HVAC was broken in that room and could they reassign me. They promptly did so and upgraded me to a suite. I went to that room and faced the same problem, realizing...

“The gentleman that took care of the breakfast was so kind and caring. Every front desk staff member we came in contact with was fantastic and so helpful.”

“Our room was full of dust which I am allergic. I informed the front desk that I was affected by it, so they sent a person to clean it. Did not offer a different room. Cleaning made the black dust all over the ceiling coming from the vents look better but didn’t help my reaction. The lady told me to take Benadryl! The entire time I was there I had to ask for shampoo and conditioner samples because the bottles in the bathroom was empty. I am very disappointed and this was a waste of money and time...

“There was a bug in the room on microwave and the toilet wasn’t clean properly ”

“All HIEX are about the same. I loved the spacious rooms & the bed was comfortable. The carpets were rather dirty—at least that’s what the bottom of y feet showed.”

“Good location if you want to be in the westside of Springfield; good hot breakfast; friendly, helpful staff; Clean. Drinks and food reception in the pm. Did not use other amenities like gym and pool.”

“You get what you pay for, good hotel for the money paid. Very friendly staff However breakfast was very unhealthy and only had disposable plates and cups, no fruit or vegetables.”
