The Space:

Tucked among mature trees near the Willamette River, this one-of-a-kind home feels like a peaceful woodland escape while keeping you incredibly close to everything Eugene and Springfield have to offer. Soaring wood ceilings, exposed beams and expansive windows bring the outdoors in, filling the main living space with natural light and views of the surrounding greenery.



The heart of the home is the warm, open living area, perfect for relaxing together after a day exploring the riverfront trails or cheering on the Ducks. The fully equipped kitchen offers plenty of counter space and bar seating, while the adjoining dining and living spaces make it easy for everyone to gather.



The home comfortably sleeps up to six guests with two private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus two open upper-level loft sleeping spaces, each with a twin bed. The loft spaces overlook the main living area and add to the home’s unique character and open architectural design.



Step outside to enjoy the deck, patio and established yard surrounded by mature trees. Island Park, the Willamette River and miles of scenic walking and biking paths are nearby, with the path continuing toward Alton Baker Park and Autzen Stadium. Downtown Springfield (Washburne Historic District) is also just minutes away.



Inside, you’ll have two full bathrooms, in-home laundry, TV, Wifi and climate control for a comfortable stay. Pets are welcome with an applicable pet fee, making this a great home base for guests traveling with their four-legged companions.



A note about the loft spaces: The two twin beds are located in open, balcony-style upper sleeping areas accessed by a steep, winding staircase. Because of the open design and spacing between the rails, these areas are not appropriate for infants, toddlers or young children. Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the home through a well-lit private entrance. Indoor guest areas include the kitchen, living and dining spaces, two queen bedrooms, and two open upper-level twin sleeping areas, two bathrooms and an in-home laundry area.



Access to the upper sleeping areas requires using a steep, winding staircase, and one entrance includes a large step up. A portable baby gate is provided to help restrict stair access for very young children.



Outside, guests can enjoy a beautiful private patio with comfortable seating and a barbecue, surrounded by mature trees with views toward the river area. The deck, patio and yard provide inviting spaces for outdoor dining, relaxing and enjoying the peaceful natural setting.



Parking is available for up to two vehicles directly in front of the garage. Additional street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Detailed check-in and entry instructions will be provided before arrival.



The Neighborhood:

The home is located in a quiet, established Springfield neighborhood next to Island Park and near downtown Springfield’s Washburne Historic District. Guests can easily explore local restaurants, shops, parks and the area’s historic character.



The nearby bike path follows the river corridor from Island Park to Alton Baker Park and passes directly behind Autzen Stadium, providing a scenic and convenient connection between Springfield and Eugene. The property is also approximately a five-minute drive from Autzen Stadium, making it especially convenient for Oregon football games and other major events.



Getting Around:

Two vehicles may park directly in front of the garage, with additional street parking available nearby. Autzen Stadium is approximately five minutes away by car.



Island Park and the nearby riverfront bike path provide convenient walking and biking access toward Alton Baker Park and Autzen Stadium. A vehicle is recommended for exploring destinations farther throughout Springfield and Eugene.



Other Things to Note:

IMPORTANT STAIR AND CHILD-SAFETY INFORMATION



This home’s distinctive A-frame design includes a steep, winding staircase. The staircase is not appropriate for use by unsupervised children, particularly infants, toddlers and young children. A portable baby gate is provided to help restrict access to the stairs; however, the gate is only a supplemental precaution and does not make the home childproof. Children must remain under close, continuous adult supervision near the staircase.



The two twin beds are located in open, balcony-style upper sleeping areas. Because there are spaces between the balcony rails, these areas may present a fall or entrapment risk and are not appropriate for infants, toddlers or young children. Children must never access or use the balcony sleeping areas without direct adult supervision.



The entrance to one upper sleeping area also includes a large step up that may present a trip or fall hazard. All guests should use care when entering or exiting this area, particularly at night.



Guests traveling with children are responsible for reviewing these disclosed features before booking, determining whether the home is appropriate for their group and providing continuous adult supervision throughout the stay. By booking, the primary guest acknowledges these conditions and agrees to communicate them to every member of the reservation.

The home’s front landscaping is a work in progress, so you may notice an area of bare soil in the front yard. This is shown in the listing photos and will not affect parking, entry or your enjoyment of the home and its beautiful outdoor spaces.
