“We had an amazing stay at the Kern Lodge and Kernville. The lodge and the pool is very nice & it was very close for us to go to our two days rafting trip we had booked with the Whitewater Rafting company. The rafting was an adventure of our lifetime for me and my daughter Amanda (11 years old). “My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. “Overall the stay was nice. The only issue we had with our room is the shower head in the bathroom was very damaged and sprayed water all over when trying to shower. The property is right off the main road which is great for getting to the park and in town but has a lot of traffic.”
