“It was only a one night stay, in transit to Krüger NP. Everything was alright. The wifi was much better in the public area than in the room though. Rosebank Mall is within walking distance so you can do your shopping easily if needed.
They have their own parking as well.”

“The hotel is very modern. The room is very comfortable and the housekeeping staff does a great job with their cleaning. The Hotel has a shuttle service that takes you to Nelson Mandela Square with no charges and we have enjoyed a shuttle to the airport early morning with a charge, which is secure and convenient.
Our only complaint was the food at the restaurant that is lousy; however, the cook came out to apologize for salty and over seasoned food.

““Fantastic trip and stay! I would highly recommend it to anyone. The location is extremely convenient with easy access to both the park and the casino. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the beds were very comfortable. Considering that both the park entrance and breakfast are included in the price, along with the added benefit of skipping long queues at the park, the overall value is excellent.””

"There was no running water in the entire hotel. We were told there was a water outage in the entire neighborhood. You would expect that a hotel such as Holiday Inn would have a reserve tank especially since water outages are not a novelty in Johannesburg.
We were told the hotel was providing complementary drinking water in our rooms and would also provide water for baths. In a family room for 4, there were two 330ml water bottles. Reception wasnt picking up calls from rooms. Overall, not what I expected from the hotel. I hope this was a one off and that they would normally handle all of this better. "

"This hotel has ambitions to be a luxury hotel. It probably has been. But now the furniture and textiles are worn out, the flowers indoors has seen its best days, the supply in the small bar in the lobby is very bad. Birds were flying indoors eating from the buffe but no one seemed to bother. The pool had green algiers.
When I checked in at 4.30 pm (3 pm is the check in time) the room wasn't available. Suddenly they found a room but in a lower standard and gave it to me. But the staff in at the reception was very courtesy. "
