“Very clean, the building inside and out was a little worn but the rooms are immaculately clean. To be fair the outside is undergoing some cosmetic renovations which is great! It had everything I needed, a hot shower, comfy bed and a fantastic breakfast. The pool very clean, warm, nice. The front desk lady from
Boston was awesome! So welcoming and talked to my husband from Canada in French! Wow! She is a talented customer service professional. Thanks for a wonderful stay.”

“Room was clean, place was quiet. There is a restaurant downstairs but we didn't get the opportunity to try it, but it smelled good! Plenty of parking, easy to get to.”
“Stay was good. The loacation is very nice and it worked very well for where we needed to be. The place could use some minor fixing up and maybe some fresh exterior painting. We wrapped our work up there a day early but paid for the full 11 days. Wish there could have been a way to get reimbursed for thate last day that we didn't stay.”
“It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter.
